Summary
I got hit wicked-bad by my unmedicated ADHD and depression and some severe dental pain I had when I started this. Now that my shit's in order I'm looking at this and going "Man. I can do better now."
So I'm gonna! Look out for a new version posted in the future, keeping this up for archival reasons.

The words died in her throat as mighty claws simply reached down to pluck the teenager up by the middle, no warning being offered at all as the Noble hoisted the leader of the Pearl Clan over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes and bolted straight back to her den with a scrabble, leaving Gaeric floundering in her wake.“Oh, oh Sinnoh that’s never happened before.” He was normally the most calm and composed of the two, but how were you supposed to react when a great Noble just snatches up the leader and runs off with her without even a greeting? His fretting was punctuated further when he heard a startled shout from inside of the Den on the cliffs.
“LADY SNEASLER THIS IS A MAN.”

Lives flow through their time upon this world like water. Bubbling brooks and babbling creeks, lazy currents and vicious rapids. Waterfalls, flash floods, water spirals in a storm. Gulleys scarred into the world by the impactful lives that flowed through them. Even if one day they run dry, you would not be able to deny their presence for many years to come. Pieces of slate pulled from the tops of mountains that held the remains of shellfish, suspended in that layer as though it were a strange candy brittle.Lives too, would form rivers. Arms branching out from mighty lakes, clawing for the sea as they reached ever onwards. Some would make it, some would settle for a simple pond. Others would become dead ends. Many more would flow into other rivers, forming something larger, greater. Something that could travel further. Something that could aspire for something better. Every life flows where it does for a reason. Every riversmeet exists for a reason.
Stories upon stories leading people to this singular, resplendent confluence in Hisui.
