Kiramager Story Remake : Royal Jewel

Summary:

What if Juuru's flash images of Crystalia in his head are not just a coincidence? What if there's more than meets the eye? While fighting Yodonheim, he tries to discover his past without the others knowing. Especially his partner, Fire. However, knowing Muryou, he already knows what Juuru's up to.

Chapter 1: Prologue : Flash images

Summary:

Juuru's history with his flash images of Crystalia.

Chapter Text

Even before he was recruited in the Kiramagers, Juuru had flash images of Crystalia in his mind for years. Even with extensive medical tests, CARAT still doesn't know what is the cause of this. While fighting Yodonheim, he keeps getting more flash images in his head at bad timing.

"Why? Why now?"

"Juuru! Don't space out!" shouted Tametomo.

"Oh! Sorry."

"Is he having another image of Crystalia?" asked Mabusheena.

"It might be. Why is it?" That's the question that Muryou wanted to answer ever since Juuru told him about this.

The Kiramagers did defeat the Jamen but Juuru doesn't feel as victorious as the others. Even in school, during his drawing sessions, he still wants to know why he has visions of Crystalia at random times.

"Is someone calling out for me?"

"Hey, Juuru. What are you doing?"

"Oh. It's nothing, Fire. I'm just... thinking about homework."

"Homework?" Despite his above average grades, Juuru normally doesn't really think about homework. Or that's what Fire seems to thinks at least.

"Crystalia. King Oradin. Yodonheim. What's the connection? Why in my dreams?"

Those were the question Juuru wanted to answer since he was recruited into the Kiramagers. He decided to find out for himself and not tell the others about it.

"Juuru. It's late." his mother called.

"Okay. I'll get ready for bed."

While sleeping, he had another dream and encountered Oradin. This time, they were drawing something that looked like a train station.

"Yodonheim's next target is at the train station?"

When he woke up, he realizes he's in a hospital ward.

"Why am I here?"

"Juuru! Thank goodness."

"Mom? What happened?"

"You didn't wake up for a week. Doctors said you had some kind of seizure."

"A seizure? But I'm fine."

Then it hit him. The dream he had of Crystalia that night. Maybe it was too intense that it paused his brain.

"Juuru. You had us worried." said Sena. Apparently, his teammates visited him this past week.

"Thank you for taking care of Juuru."

"It's nothing, Mrs. Atsuta. Actually, we're thankful for Juuru. He's the one who united us." said Shiguru.

"Juuru-kun. It's okay to talk about things that you're not comfortable about." said Sayo.

"I'm fine! It's okay."

Everyone was surprised that Juuru shouted at them. He's usually pretty calm most of the time and when he's in battle, he's at his most energy. That's because he wants to know everything about him by himself.

Chapter 2: Episode 12 Remake : First Time?

Summary:

Juuru has taken an interest in Takamichi but feels something familiar about him.

Chapter Text

Crystalia Takamichi, formerly Hakataminami Takamichi, is a treasure hunter, prince of Crystalia and Mabusheena's older foster brother. He's been keeping secrets from Mabusheena since their mother's death. While looking for the Kanaema Stones, he's also looking for someone. During one of his missions, he met Juuru and Sayo. They fought together and Takamichi learns the true meaning of teamwork. But one day, during a battle, he noticed that Juuru was having a headache.

"Juuru! You okay?!"

"Ah! Crystalia again?"

"Huh? Crystalia? What do you mean by again?"

"King Oradin."

"Father?"

"Huh? There's another..."

"Another what? Juuru!"

After the battle, Takamichi went to Muryou to ask him what was that about. Muryou tells him that Juuru's been having visions of Crystalia even before he joined CARAT.

"And with that level of Kiramentality. Father was the only one who was at that level."

"That leaves this theory. What if Juuru was originally from Crystalia?"

"That would make sense. But even so, with his Kiramentality level, he's off bounds."

Then Takamichi remembers something.

"Actually, Muryou. I haven't even told Maubsheena about this."

"What is it, bro?"

"After mother's death, not only have I been searching for the Kanaema Stones but also... a Crystalian."

"A Crystalian?"

"Specifically from the royal family. When I arrived, not only there was Mabusheena and mother waiting for me and father but also a baby."

"A baby?"

Back at the Atsuta house, Juuru keeps wondering about why he feels so familiar when he's with Takamichi. Maybe they met and Juuru can't remember? But even Takamichi didn't recognized him at first sight.

"That vision. It was of a Crystalian family. Why? Do they have a connection with King Oradin?"

Then his head starts to ache again. He's having another vision.

"Father. Mother. What's his name?"

"Jewel. His name is Jewel. From now on, he's going to be your little brother, Mabusheena."

"AH!"

Juuru quickly regain his senses and was puzzled.

(Mabusheena?! But that means... the palace! But the time doesn't make any sense. Wait. Crystalians age differently than humans. Then why am I having visions about the royal family? And it seemed like it was before Takamichi-san was adopted.)

"King Oradin. Please tell me. Why am I seeing these things?"

The next day, while looking for the other 3 Kanaema Stones, Takamichi keeps looking at a locket with a picture of his adoptive family. His father, mother and sister. But there seemed to be another member of the family.

"Jewel... I promise I will find you and bring you back home."

"Whose Jewel?"

Takamichi turns around to find the others (except Juuru) behind him. "Guys! You're not supposed to..."

"Ta-san. You can tell us." said Sayo.

Takamichi sighed. "Please don't tell Juuru and Mabusheena about this. I'm not only looking for the Kanaema Stones. I'm also looking for someone."

"Someone named Jewel?" asked Tametomo.

Takamichi nodded.

"Whose Jewel anyways? And why do we keep it a secret from Juuru too?" asked Sena.

"Because it will sadden Mabusheena. She was already distraught after mother's death and I don't want to sadden her even more. Jewel... is our little brother."

"Little brother?!"

"He was born a few months before I was adopted into the royal family. He went missing a few nights later. Some say that he was kidnapped by Yodonheim and they killed him in order to make father lose levels of his Kiramentality. So before I started treasure hunting, father gave me the mission to find Jewel. After I accepted the mission, he erased all the Crystalians' memories of Jewel, including Mabusheena. The only ones who remember him are me, father and mother."

"That's why Mabusheena never mentioned him." said Shiguru.

"So, you're doing this for Mabusheena? We know about the Kanaema Stones but this... I can't believe this."

"I know this is hard to take in, Tametomo. But I know I have to find him. Even if father and mother aren't with us anymore, I still want to reunite our family."

"But why do we also have to keep it from Juuru?"

"This is just a theory but seeing how Juuru's been having visions of Crystalia, I think there's a connection."

"What connection?"

"Juuru is originally from Crystalia."

"WHAT?!"

"I said it's just a theory. Muryou and I talked about it and it seems possible. And with Juuru's level of his Kiramentality being exactly the same as father, there's no doubt that..."

"That..."

"Juuru is Jewel."

"WHAT?!"

The 4 Kiramagers have a lot to take in. Their leader is a missing Crystalian prince and Mabusheena doesn't even know about this. They all agree to keep this from Juuru and Mabusheena and help Takamichi with his search for the Kanaema Stones.

Chapter 3: Episode 19 Remake : Partners' Trust

Summary:

Fire learns about Juuru's visions of Crystalia.

Chapter Text

Thanks to a Jamen attack, the Kiramagers (minus Takamichi) and their Mashins have switched. While they figure things out, Fire goes to school for Juuru. He managed to get through the entire school period but couldn't help but notice something. He saw a vision of Crystalia before it's destruction.

"Was that... Crystalia? Did Juuru see this too?"

While walking to the base, Fire was met with a challenge from the Sumikae Jamen, which he accepts. He transforms into Kiramai Red and starts to swordfight to the best of his abilities. The others also came and helped him with defeating the Sumikae Jamen. But as they were doing so, Fire kept having visions of Crystalia.

"What is this?"

"Fire. You okay?"

"Yeah. I'm fine, Jetter. Nothing to worry about. Let's get this over with."

They defeated the Sumikae Jamen in it's normal form and started to battle it's giant form. They formed the Kiramaizin and battled the Jamen. But Fire still had visions.

"Fire! Pay attention!"

"Sorry, Shovellow."

They defeated the Jamen and returned back to normal. But Fire couldn't help but remember all those visions he saw. Was Juuru seeing them too? And if he was, why didn't he tell him about this?

"Hey, Juuru."

"What is it, Fire?"

"Well... It's just..."

"What?"

Fire feels like he needs to say it. "Have you been having visions of Crystalia?"

Juuru froze. "You knew?"

"Not until the switch happened. Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because, I didn't want to worry anyone. Especially Mabusheena. I knew that if I told her, she would just be sad."

"So you just didn't say anything to protect us?"

Juuru nodded. "And I didn't want to worry you too, Fire. You're my partner."

"And I'm glad to have you as my partner."

The two laughed. Like they said, they are forever partners. Takamichi was watching them from behind the door and could only reminiscent about his lost foster brother. And if Juuru is Jewel, how is Takamichi going to tell him?

Chapter 4: Episode 23 Remake : Mother/Children Reunion

Summary:

After the Kiramagers find out that Queen Mabayuine is alive, they reunite her with Mabusheena. But after their short celebration, Mabayuine asked Takamichi about her other son's whereabouts.

Chapter Text

After Muryou analyzed the headdress that Mabusheena keeps as a reminder of her mother, it was true that Queen Mabayuine's soul is in it. They explain what happened after her death. She didn't believe it at first but looking at their serious faces, she had to believe it.

"Mother. I know it's a lot to take in."

"I know, Takamichi. So, you're finding a way to restore Crystalia. Then, what about Oradin?"

"Unfortunately, father died during Crystalia's destruction."

"I see."

Then Queen Mabayuine looks at Juuru and has a famliar feeling about him.

"J... Jewel..."

"What is it, mother?"

"Oh... It's nothing, Mabusheena. Takamichi. Muryou-san. Can we talk?"

"Of course."

Takamichi took the headdress and he, Mabayuine and Muryou went to separate room so the others, especially Juuru and Mabusheena, wouldn't hear them.

"So... what is it, mother?"

"The boy in red."

"You mean Juuru?"

"Even his name sound familiar."

"Wait. Are you thinking about..."

"Jewel. Does Mabusheena know yet?"

The two men shook their heads. "It's best that she doesn't know."

"Have you found him yet?"

"Yes and don't be shocked if you are. We secretly did a DNA test from Juuru and it results came in. Juuru is a complete Crystalian. He's Jewel."

"How long?"

"About 3 months. Now the question is, how did he get to Earth?"

"It's impossible that he was kidnapped by his current parents. With human technology at the time, going to Crystalia was impossible."

"And there is one more theory."

"What is it, Muryou?"

"He was kidnapped by Yodonheim, took most of his powers and sent him to Earth to live as a human."

"That could explain it. And it seems like the only thing they missed is his Kiramentality."

"His Kiramentality hasn't shown yet. Because he was too young. He was just an infant at the time."

Then Queen thought she would never see her missing son ever again and was glad that he's still alive and fighting against Yodonheim as a Kiramager. But they didn't know that Mabusheena overheard everything. She couldn't help but follow them and listen to their entire conversation.

"Juuru is a Crystalian? Kidnapped by Yodonheim?"

She couldn't believe it. They even called him by a different name.

"Jewel. Where have I heard that name before?"

Chapter 5: Episode 28 Remake : Talk By The Sea

Summary:

Hakobu and Shiguru have a talk about Crystalia's history and the latter is shocked by one piece of information.

Chapter Text

After Juuru and Shiguru made Hakobu feel better, he couldn't help but notice something about Juuru. He felt somewhat familiar but he couldn't figure out why.

"Why is that boy... His Kiramentality levels are off the charts. Almost like... King Oradin."

Then it hit him. The night of the kidnapping of Crystalia.

"It can't be. Oh, blue one. What's your name?"

"Oshikiri Shiguru, sir."

"May we talk alone for a bit?"

"Of course. Juuru. You mind?"

"Not at all. I'll be at the edge of the island. Call me if you need me."

Juuru leaves them to have a private talk.

"Shiguru. Do you know what happened before Crystalia's destruction?"

"From what I heard from Takamichi, there was another member in the royal family, correct?"

"Yes. There was a baby in the family. He's name was Jewel."

"And after some testing, it is fact that Juuru is a Crystalian, complete with royal blood."

"That's why he felt familiar. He's King Oradin's missing son."

"But there is one question. How did he get to Earth and who kidnapped him?"

"There have been a few theories about this. But all have something the same about them."

"Something the same?"

"The kidnapping happened a long time before Galza's betrayal."

"Before his betrayal? What do you mean?"

"Galza was still the palace's main guard at the time. When he was tasked to check on Jewel, he saw that a dark shadow had broken in from the window of Jewel's room. He tried to save him but was unsuccessful."

"So Galza did care for his nephew. Then, why did he betray them years later?"

"That I still don't know. He might either had a reason or just hated King Oradin to the point of killing him."

"So many questions."

"By the way, does the princess know about this yet?"

"As of now, no she doesn't. Takamichi says it's for her own good."

"I see. Does the red one know this then?"

"No, sir. Takamichi also said that Juuru shouldn't know this. But we are planning to tell him when the time is right."

"I should have been there."

"Don't feel guilty again. I promise you we will restore Crystalia and bring back everyone."

"Well then, I should fulfill my promise then to go help you with your battles."

"Thank you, Sir Hakobu."

Shiguru called Juuru and they went back to the city with Hakobu. Now that Hakobu knows that the missing prince in still alive and fighting against Yodonheim, he is assured that everything will be fine as long as he believes in his friends and comrades.
