Work Text:

It wasn’t a real fight unless there was a wide range of injuries covering the odd band of friends. How were they suppose to know a pack of owlbears had claimed the cave system they usually used as a shortcut.

Worst for ware of the group had to be Mollymauk, his habit of ridding his coat whilst fighting and using his own blood to power his blades left the man riddled with lilac covered scars and fresh deep crimson wounds.
A few good slashes from the mighty owl-bears claws would add to the scars. Since he was use to the burning on his skin from his own unique methods of fighting, he missed the 3 large claw marks that had been ripped down his back. His fine cotton tunic ripped and barely hanging on by threads.
Usually Jester or even Caleb would help with healing the wounds of the group via magic, but everyone had taken a beaten and were too exhausted to help.

Arriving back at the Thornwood Inn the battered group had been calling home, entering the tavern everyone fell silent, heads turning to look at the battered group. A trail or blood and dirt following behind them as the group collectively left to their respected rooms to clean themselves up and rest. Due to the lack of rooms available and the groups need to be close, the had to share rooms and even beds.

Caleb, Mollymauk and Nott had chosen to share the room furthest to the back of the Inn. Yasha and Beau beside them, Jester and Ford at the other end.

Caleb and Nott had decided to stay downstairs for a little as the group headed up, grabbing himself a trust of whatever they served whilst Mollymauk headed for the room, closing the door as he dumped his coat on the side dresser.
Using his long nails he reached around with a shaky breath, cut the strings of the back of his shirt that was barely holding it together. Allowing the fabric to fall to the floor, Molly twisted himself enough, his acrobatic nature making the task not so difficult as he looked at the deep wounds as the crimson rivers flowed down his back. Unamused that he didn’t notice it until he felt the warm blood running down the back of his pants.

“Scheiße, Molly…”

Turning his head sharply he looked at the doorway. A more scruffier looking Caleb stood at the entrance with a tankard in hand, the man swiftly placing it down as he headed over

“You need that cleaning or else we’ll loose you to infection…”
Caleb spoke with a gruff voice, hints of concern filtering through the usually emotionless man.

“I’m fine, Caleb… If you haven’t noticed I’m use to it”
Turning on the spot to show his wide oray of scars scattered around his lavender body, stopping as some blood flinged off his fresher wounds and sprayed the floor. Smiling innocently as he used his boot to wipe it away.

Choosing not to speak Caleb left the room with something in his hands, causing a huff to leave Mollys lips as he continued to smudge the blood into the floorboards.
Just as he went to grab something to wrap around himself Caleb came back with rags and a large ceramic bowl of water, clearly hot as steam hovered over it freely.

The ever-emotionless man walked around Mollymauk, his eyes darting briefly to the wounds on his back before placing the bowl on the bedside table and finally looking at Mollymauk.

“If you won’t do it yourself, then allow me to help”
Coming around the back of Molly he gently pushed his shoulders until he met the bed, his knees bending from the pressure as he went forward on the bed.

Mollymauk tensed as he felt the mans sudden touch, falling onto the bed with a small chuckle
“My, my Caleb if you wanted me bent over you could have asked”
A pleasurable shudder through his spine causing him to wince as it passed over the wounds. Flicking his tail up, allowing it to curl as it vibrated and stuttered from the idea and his compromised position.

“Put that thing down”
Caleb smacked the mans tail away lightly, knowing the traits of the amorous Tiefling all too well.
Now with a wet cloth in hand he leaned over the lavender tiefling, attempting to clean the wounds from the odd angle but it wasn’t working.

“This may be… odd but I can’t do this from here”
Caleb shrugged off his jacket before climbing onto the bed, his legs hiking over the mans waist as he straddled his backside.

“Mmmmrrrrr”
Mollymauk purred from the sensation, a lustful smirk on his face as his tail vibrated, swaying back and forth as it snakes up around the mans neck.
The Tiefling couldn’t care less about the pain coming from the wounds as they were cleaned, his attention was on every touch, every movement the man above him made.

Caleb would be lying if he didn’t enjoy the contact too. The position definitely not one he would opt for in any other case, or with anyone else but he had a soft spot for the circus man.

Leaning over he gently wiped the blood away cleaning around the wound best he could. The cuts were deep and needed stitches something he could easily do.
Climbing off the man he almost choked, the Tieflings tail trying to keep him there with the firm grasp around his neck

“You’re no fun…. Come back here, Caleb…”
Mollymauk purred, his voice muffled as he spoke into the sheets.

“You need to calm yourself, Herr. You need stitches so get comfortable this is going to hurt”
Caleb rifled through his bag searching for a smaller pouch he kept medical supplies in. Pulling it out he searched through for the needle and suture thread. After digging to the bottom and finding what he was after, He headed to the candle he sterilised the needle over the flickering flame.

Mollymauk had pulled himself further onto the bed, his arms dangling off the opposite side from his skewed position on the bed. Looking curiously his eyes followed the fire haired man back until he was on the bed once more.

“Bleib ruhig(stay calm), Molly. This is going to sting.”
Threading the needle through he straddled the mans backside once more, his shuffles to get into a better position causing the Tieflings tail to shudder once more.

“Behave…”
Slapping the tail once more as i tried to come back up around him, hissing his words before beginning to stitch the mans large wounds back up.

It was a good 30 minutes until he was finally finished. The wound being a little tougher than he’d have hoped and needing more thread and a lot more cleaning. Molly took the pain like a champ, no surprise there, though his constant attempts to temp the young wizard into other activities were relentless.

Stepping back off the bed he placed the needle down with the cloth. The water a dark crimson from the blood.
Calebs eyes flicked back to his handy-work, admiring the beautiful tattoos that stood out on the Tieflings lavender skin. Beautiful hues of blues and green peacock feathers framed his muscular back.

Mollmauk seemed to be entirely subdued, sprawled out with his head to the side as he listened to what was happening behind him.
Glancing back briefly he noticed Caleb staring, turning on his side with a smirk as his tail swayed behind him.
“Like what you see? You should come back on the bed and see it closer…”

Snapping back into reality Caleb cleared his throat briefly, his cheeks stained pink as he cleaned off his hands.
“You need to rest. Try not to lay on your back. Me and Nott have to share this bed too and i’m already covered in your blood”

Slowly circling back around to his bed avoided eye contact with the charming Tieflings, the unamused sounds echoing in the quiet room as Molly wiggled to lay normally on the bed, his arms folded under a pillow as he stared at the human.

Caleb could feel Mollymauks ruby eyes boring themselves into his skull.
Putting the coat in the pile of his stuff he pulled out a long bandage to put on the Tiefling later on. The wound needed some time right now. Jester could heal it better when she was rested.

“Rest. I will be back later…”
Stepping towards the bed he looked over the stitches one last time. His icy hues fading up to meet Mollys Rubys as his head was angled to look at him with a pleading gaze. Almost asking him to stay, but Caleb couldn’t.
Stepping closer he moved a curl of the mans eminence hair from his face. Leaning down to kiss the lavender skin of Mollymauks forehead. Not quite satisfying the Tieflings urges, but enough to show he cared.

“Rest well, Circus man”
Smiling softly as the tiefling closed his eyes with an adoring smile on his face. Humming pleasurably like he’d won.

Slowly creeping out of the dimly lit room Caleb sighed, closing the door behind him and heading back to meet Nott who was now sat with Jester and Beau.
“That circus man is going to be the death of himself”
Scowling as he planted himself in the empty seat at the table he called for a trust, the chuckle of his friends around him causing a smile to break on his own lips.

That circus man was really something.
