Rain poured hard from the dark, polluted sky. Into the small alleyway where two children resided,one holding the other tightly under a cardboard box. it wasnt the best or the safest for now, but it was better than what was coming for him in his own home. he clasped the small girls hands tightly, keeping her warm and dry as he faced the brunt of the weather.
They needed money fast, or they are going to starve or freeze at this point. Luckily Michael had a plan, one that would keep them off the streets for good. He lifted himself up with Lizzy still in his arms. "Liz we are gonna go get some money ok? you just need to behave and wait with me" Mike explained to her pretty easily as she nodded in slight confusion but confidence in her brother.
They both walked for a while, until they reached a luxurious hotel, and walking in towards the lobby bathroom. He locked the door behind them and plopped lizzie and his bag down. He grabbed out a sparkling red dress and some of his mothers old makeup, luckily she tought him. "Get dressed into some clean clothes, and ill grab us something to eat and also, im your 'dad', Ok?" Michael said firmly and Lizzy responded with a joking "Yes sir!" with a small salute which made them both chuckle.
They washed up and actually looked quite decent, Michael held 20 dollars in his hands and ordered him and lizzie a drink and some fries to eat before Michael had to get to work. luckily his first customer had already slithered its way over towards him, obviously looking for sex. They started small talking until they decided to grab two rooms, a separate for lizzie so she didnt have to see that stuff. And the way the elder man held him and touched him in ways only he had, it was. new experience but hey, atleast movies taught him something and they had a place to stay for the night
Next thing Michael knew is he was in an empty bed, and an envelope of money carefully placed on the bedside table. He leaned over and tore open the paper, and stared with absolute shock and joy. 20 Grand.
he ran over to Elizabeths room and told her the news, she was ecstatic. little did they know someone was watching, but as he always says.
