He wanted to drop his stare as he was being so studied, Lucius could feel – but he didn't. Instead he swallowed hard and murmured. “I apologize. For intruding on you.”
“Is that what you're doing,” Lucius answered, cooler than the bath waters, despite what he felt waking and stirring in their depths. “Perhaps I could forgive you. Since you've never intruded on my personal time or nudity before. Obviously.”
