“Are you ready?”

Hermione looked over her shoulder and smiled at Blaise. “I am.” She raised an eyebrow. “Are you?”

Blaise chuckled. “With you by my side? Of course.”

“Good, because this is going to be interesting,” Hermione muttered as she picked up her wand.

Taking her hand in his, Blaise pulled her close to whisper in her ear, “I don’t think it will be as bad as you’re imagining.” He shrugged. Blaise knew Hermione had been trying to subtly hint to her friends about their relationship, but in true fashion, those boys of hers were incredibly hopeless. “And if it is, you’ve got Draco and me. You know we’re both here for you and each other.”

Hermione squeezed his hand. “I know.”

Blaise picked up the Floo powder container and held it out to Hermione. “Draco said he would be waiting for us, so let’s not keep him waiting.”

“Let’s do this,” Hermione sighed as she took a pinch. She stepped into the fireplace. “See you there. Malfoy Manor.” Hermione dropped the powder, and the fireplace flared green before she disappeared.

Pulling out his wand, Blaise sealed up the flat he shared with Hermione and took his own pinch of Floo powder. Blaise stepped toward the warm flame after setting the container back on the mantel, dropped the powder, and called out the same destination as his girlfriend, leaving the darkened room behind.

When he arrived in the parlour of Malfoy Manor, Blaise saw a sight he knew he would never get bored of seeing. Hermione was wrapped in Draco’s arms as he held her close and rested his head on top of hers.

“Don’t look now, but we’ve been caught,” Draco mock-whispered as he winked at Blaise.

“Oh dear,” Hermione replied as she slipped out of Draco’s hold.

“You’re lucky I love you both,” Blaise told them as he stepped closer.

Draco pulled Blaise into his arms. “You couldn’t get rid of either of us if you tried.”

Instead of replying, Blaise closed the distance between them and kissed Draco.

Hermione watched as the two men kissed. She bit into the skin at the knuckle of her thumb, trying to hide the moan that she could feel bubbling towards the surface. It didn’t work.

Draco broke the kiss and chuckled. “Like what you see, love?”

She nodded. Releasing her thumb, she replied, “Very much so.”

“As much as I would love to take the two of you to bed, we really need to move out to the gardens where everyone else is waiting,” Draco explained. He took one of Hermione’s hands in his. “Are you ready?”

Hermione took a deep breath and muttered, “As ready as I’ll ever be.”

Blaise took her other hand in his and slipped it into the crook of his elbow. “As I said before we left our flat, Draco and I are both here for you.”

She grinned. “And each other, right?”

Both men returned her smile. “Exactly.”

“Then let’s do this.”

Instead of releasing her hand as he had done dozens of times in the past, Draco held on and led the way through his ancestral home. They wound their way through the main hallway and into the conservatory that led to the area of the gardens where the rest of Draco’s parents’ guests were waiting.

This wasn’t Hermione’s first time in Malfoy Manor since the end of the war. During her time in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, she worked with Draco on a Bill she was crafting to get the opinion of someone who grew up with house-elves.

That had been about eight years ago, and since then, the duo had worked on more than one creature bill after Hermione convinced Draco to join her in the department. Draco had actually been the one to introduce Hermione to Blaise about five years ago after his return from spending time with his father’s family on the continent. It took Blaise another eighteen months to convince Hermione to give them a chance, but she did, and it had been worth it. When Draco had drunkenly confessed his feelings for both of them one night some months later, Blaise did something crazy.

There were times when he still couldn’t believe that Hermione went along with his suggestion, but he was glad she did. The trio had been together for about three years now, and they were finally ready to reveal the full extent of their relationship to their family and friends. Especially with the release of Draco’s father from Azkaban due to his declining health.

Speaking of Draco’s father, the sound of Lucius’s voice pulled Blaise from his thoughts.

“Ah, Draco. I see Blaise and Miss Granger have finally graced us with their presence,” Lucius greeted. The slight smile twisting his lips let the trio know that there was no heat behind his words.

Lucius had been released about a month ago and was placed under house arrest for the remaining time of his original sentence after the war. In that time, Blaise and Hermione had seen Lucius once when Draco invited them to a small get-together welcoming him home.

The older wizard raised a blond eyebrow as he realised that his son was holding his best friend’s girlfriend’s hand. “Draco?”

“Yes, father?”

“Is there a particular reason you’re holding Miss Granger’s hand?”

Darting through the woods on the Malfoy land, Hermione laughed. She hadn’t had this much fun in years.

She knew that Beltane was something celebrated among the older pureblood families and had been invited to a couple, but she’d never had the pleasure of being this involved in one.

The sounds of heavy footsteps behind her had Hermione picking up her pace.

Coming across a clearing, Hermione made her way around the edge, trying to hide in the shadows of the trees.

The man that had been behind her burst into the clearing and stumbled to a stop.

Seeing him, Hermione finally stopped running. She slid behind one of the trees and tried to calm her breathing as she watched him try and figure out what direction she went.

Arms wrapping around her had Hermione freezing in place. Before she could scream, one of the hands covered her mouth.

“Got you,” a voice whispered.

She relaxed as she realised that Blaise was standing behind her.

“Over here,” Blaise called out as he moved his arms so they were loosely wrapped around Hermione’s waist.

Draco turned towards his voice, and he made his way towards them after a moment.

Hermione could see a grin brighten his face in the moonlight.

“About time. You definitely gave us a run for our money, love,” Draco told her as he stopped in front of his lovers.

“I had to make it look good,” Hermione replied with a shrug.

He pulled her out of Blaise’s arms. “Shall we head back to the bonfire?”

“Not yet,” she replied. “I want to openly kiss my lovers now that the others know.”

“I think we can accommodate that,” Draco replied as he dipped his head and pressed his lips against hers.

When the trio finally returned to the bonfire, they no longer held back on holding each other close. No matter how many times Ron teased them about making him sick.
