Work Text:
This is it, I'm gonna tell her today. She is on her way here, nothing can go wrong.
The door chimes, I get up to check it. She is here.
"Hello Akarsha", Noelle greets. She is wearing her normal clothes, that white shirt, jacket tied around her waist, she has decided to not wear her mask though.
"Come in come in", I ussher. I quickly offer and make her a cup of tea when I return she is sitting on my couch; she looks worried.
"I have something to tell you", we both say at once. Well this is awkward.
"You go first", I say. She takes a deep breath to compose herself and says "I'm moving".
Oh, oh no. I was gonna tell her I love her. Today was supposed to be a good day, not this.
Noelle obviously sees the look in my face.
"I'm sorry my mother thinks it's best for me, I don't want this either", she explains.
"Its ok its not your fault", my breath catches before I continue, "when are you leaving?"
"Next week", she answer.
In that moment I decided that my confession doesn't mater, I will make this week count, this will be the best week of Noelles life.
