   Summary

   Things were… better. Lev would not say they were good. He didn’t really have a frame of reference for “good.” But he did understand “better.” Cutting his hair was better. Living with Abby was better. Living with the fireflies was the most better yet, but he still wouldn’t call it good. For one thing, he couldn’t shake the nightmares.
