Chapter Text

Quentin sighs as he lays on his bed. The west coast avengers are on a season hiatus, so filming won't be happing for a while. That's not what's bothering him. It's the fact that Gwen is on Krakoa, and apparently, she is a mutant. She has been acting weird for a while now, ever since Teddy attacked her and became a hydra goon.

Quentin lay there wondering what to do after finding out about the gutter space and story tropes. The fact that Gwen broke up with him, out of nowhere. Then there is a knock on the door. Quentin opens it with his powers and there stands Gwen, wearing her white shorts, pink hoodie, and S.H.I.E.L.D hat.

"Hi, Q. I'm sorry for everything." Gwen tells him and looks at him.

Quentin gets up and hugs her, "It's okay, just tell me what the hell happened."

"Okay, well the west coast avengers comic got canceled, a new writer for me wrote a mini-series, and well..."

"That's why you broke up with me?"

"Yes, and they made me ruin most of my friendships with other heroes, lose track of my brother and I gave up and went along with Ms. Marvel telling me that I'm a mutant and I don't know my own history... but the bright side I have my powers back," Gwen says with a smile and punches a hole in reality that sounds a lot like ripping paper, to pull out some pink mochi and hands it to Quentin.

Quentin holds the plate as Gwen claps her hands to fix the whole in the reality, "So yeah, I can do that again."

"So why are you telling me this now?" Quentin asks her suspicious of this.

"Because I missed you and I finally feel like I'm in control again, also I miss our tête-à-têtes."

Quentin blinks, "Our what?"

Gwen rolls her eyes, "Our talks, tête-à-têtes is a french thing."

"Oh...." Quentin said and looks at her, "How do you know all this french stuff?" He asks not looking into her mind because he remembers how Gwen doesn't like that.

"Batroc taught me."

"WAIT WHAT?!"

"Yeah, he was my mentor. He taught me how to fight. Back when we were forced to work for M.O.D.O.K. in the Mercenary Organization Dedicated Only to Killing aka M.O.D.O.K... I miss those guys."

"Um who?" Quentin asks her.

"Batroc, Cecil, Saraha, Tony, and the rest of them..." Gwenpool sighs before looking back at Quentin, "I'm sorry-"

Quentin kisses her and when he pulls back, "I forgive you, you don't have to apologize again.

Gwen nods, as Quentin smiles, "So we have to find Teddy, meet up with your merc fam, and maybe slap Ms. Marvel for telling you were a mutant, or am I missing something?"

Gwen giggles a bit, "Apologize to Spider-Man, Pick up Jeff from Wade, ask Squirrel Girl why she let Teddy join Hydra, and while we are out maybe get some pizza or mess with the avengers. Also maybe try to make it up to the fantastic four."

"Why are Spider-Man and The fantastic four mad with you? Wait, let me guess, something happened during that whole mini-series thing?"

"Yeah, the writer made me try to unmask spider-man and Deadpool talked me into doing something stupid and that ended up with me kissing Mr. Fantiastic..."

"WAIT WHAT?! You kissed HIM?! The smartest man on the earth?! Why?"

"For clickbait, comic-book cover clickbait. It was a cardboard cut out of him but then through hijinks, I kissed him for real."

"Wow okay, that is so weird. So you will kiss people for views?"

"Only then, when that writer was writing me. She basically made me be a soapbox to talk down to people who are like me... Other comic fans and shippers."

"Okay?"

"It's a long story, I'll just show you. She rips open a hole and grabs his hand as she walks through to the gutter space.

Quentin looks around, "It's all comic pages?"

Gwen, "Always has been."

Quentin looks at the comic pages of them talking, "Oh... this... I see why you went to Doctor Doom with all of this."

"Yeah." She said not really listening as she pulls up the comic pages of Gwenpool: Stikes Back and censored some of them, to make sure she doesn't leak any secret identities.

Quentin reads the comic, "Yeah this isn't you... ALSO, YOU BROKE UP WITH ME OVER TEXT ORIGINALLY?!"

Gwen nods, "YEP, NOT GONNA DO THAT AGAIN."

Quentin sighs and grabs her hand, "You better not, Miss Poole."

Gwen blushes a bit and holds his hand, "Okay, Q."

Gwenpool looks at him, "So, what should we do now?"

Quentin smiles, "How about we go to new york? Stay there for a while till our show begins filming again."

Gwen smiles and nods, "Yeah that sounds good." She says and hops through a comic panel, pulling Quentin through and they were standing on the sidewalk of new york next to the one and only Ronnie's Costume Shop.

Quentin looks around as he hears the sound of the portal closing behind them, "Wait we are here already?"

Gwen nods, "Yeah, that's a part of my powerset. I can teleport, that's how I got to L.A. from Brooklyn."

Quentin smirks, "There is so much I don't know about you-" He stops hearing a door slamming.

"Gwen! Where have you been? You still haven't paid your tab! You're a big-time avenger now!" Ronnie said and checked her clothing before looking at Quentin.

"Oh yeah, that's because I haven't got my cut of the paycheck yet." Gwen says as she watches Ronnie looking at Quentin's clothes, "Do you need new clothes? It looks like it."

"Hey! I have a great sense of fashion." Quentin says with Ronnie rolling her eyes. "Gwen! Are you going to go back to L.A anytime soon?"

Gwen smiles, "Nope! We came to stay for a while."

Ronnie smiles, "Good! We set up an apartment for you to stay in when you came to stay or at least visit."

"Awww, you guys are the best," Gwen says and hugs Ronnie.

Quentin looks at them, "Hello, I'm Quentin Quire by the way."

Ronnie nods, "Yeah you're Gwen's boyfriend. I know, we watched the show."

Quentin blinks, "Oh about that-"

Ronnie looks at him, "Quire if you hurt Gwen in any way I will destroy you in the worse way imaginable." She says getting more intense and scaring Quentin to where he just says, "Y-yes ma'am."

"Good now." She hands Gwen a set of keys and points, "Go."

Gwen nods and Quentin walks off.

"Also Gwen." Gwen tilts her head and looks at Ronnie, "Hmm?"

"Don't get killed."

"Don't worry Ronnie, I have plot armor." She says before running off.

Ronnie sighs and smirks a bit as she walks back into her store.

Chapter Text

It's been a few days since Quentin and Gwenpool came to new york. Quentin sighs as he gets up and makes coffee. As he was waking up, Gwen walked over to him and hugged him from behind. She laid her head on his shoulder.

"What are you doing, Gwen?" Quentin asks her.

"Mmmmm..." That is all that Gwenpool said as she kept hugging him.

"Still asleep?" Quentin asks her.

"I'm...m'up, I swear," Gwen says with a yawn.

"You're blurring your words together. Go back to bed."

"No..." Gwen says tiredly.

Quentin sighs and uses his powers to pick up Gwen and put her back to bed. Quentin sighs as he sees that scar on her arm. From the fight, she had with her brother. He also sighs because she stole his Days of Future Pasta shirt.

He heads back to the kitchen to get his coffee, then he noticed Gwen-pig. A pig in a Gwenpool costume. "What the-" Then he noticed a portal in the living room, "Oh, come on." He sees two people walkthrough. One person who looked like a guy on the heavier side in a lab coat, and the other one is a grey skin girl with a mask that has four eyes.

"Are you sure this is the right, apartment Sarah?"

"Yes, I'm sure she is here."

Chapter Text

"Um, who the heck are you two?" Quire asks them as he holds his cup of coffee.

"Hi I'm Mega Tony. You must be Quentin, were is Gwen it's important."

A Thump is heard from the bedroom before Gwen walks in yawning before she blinks and looks at them. "MEGA TONY! SARAH!" She runs over and hugs them, "Long time, No see!"

"Gwen, something terrible is happening." Sarah says as she hugs her.

"I know my brother joined hyrda-"

"Batroc, Vincent and Cecil have been captured by the intelligencia." Mega Tony cuts Gwen off.

"OH F#&@!" Gwen says shocked and looks at them.

Quentin looks at them, "The intelligencia?"

Gwen nods, "Okay so the intelligencia is a team of supervillains. One of the members is The leader. One of the smartest people in the world and one of the hulk's archnemesis."

Sarah and Mega Tony nods, "Yeah we need your help to save them." Mega Tony says.

Quentin sighs, "Okay, I'll add this to the list of stuff we need to do."

It's been a week since he came back to life. What killed Teddy the first time came back. The roses, he has been coughing up rose petals and blood. None of the hydra doctors could cure him. Teddy gets up from his bed and heads over to his dresser to get his uniform for today and his bloody handkerchief-
"Okay, that's it. I don't need narration for my morning routine!" Teddy looks over at us... Wait. Can you not break the fourth wall? "No, I'm trying to go about my day. I don't need to hear someone tell people what-" Teddy coughs up some rose petals. "I am doing."
Okay, so we are going to continue the story. The audience needs to know how you joined hydra and what your job is- "Joined hydra because no one would hire me because I'm from a different universe. I lead a research unit due to my abilities as you can see. Also if you wonder why I have Hanahaki disease, I will not answer that. I'll just die again and I'll be brought back." Tackar, but why aren't you with squirrel girl? "To answer that it would reveal information I don't want to get out yet. Just go back to Gwenpool. They don't want to read about the side character who got more character development in this fanfiction than the one comic series he was in." Dude... You are also the main character in this fic. "I don't care, remember last time I was a star of a storyline?" Yeah but you are the antagonist so come on man. "Fine. Just don't be annoying."
Teddy walked into the cafeteria, "Good morning, J." He said before coughing up some more rose petals. J looks at him worried, "Moring boss, Fuck. I thought you would have been healed of that after you-" Teddy sighs, "Yeah, no." J looks at him, "Why haven't you told her how ya felt?" Teddy looks at him, "Because I know what will happen. Anyway, what is for breakfast?" "Oh, Jag gjorde våfflor till frukost på svenska." J says happily. Teddy smiles and before he spoke, he fell to his knees as he coughed up a full rose blossom, luckily the stem or roots didn't come out.
Teddy woke up in his room, a plate of Swedish waffles on his nightstand and he saw J reading a comic book as he set next to his bed. He started coughing again and J quickly handed him a handkerchief. "Tackar," Teddy said to J without thinking. "Wait, you've been learning Swedish?" Teddy nods and smiles at him then he grabs his chest in pain. J looks at him with worry. Teddy looks at him, "Um... please get me some water... please." J nods and leaves the room.
A large hole rips open and Gwen walks in she looks over at Teddy, "Uh... did I just walk into an angst-" "Yes Gwen. This is now an angst fic, I am dying due to unrequited love again." "Hold on a second." Gwen walks out as J walks in, "Here's your water- Why is there a hole? You shouldn't be working since you're sick." "It's my sister." "Wait you have a sister?"
Gwen walks in head stuck in a comic book, "Teddy! Bro! Just tell J you're in love with him!" Teddy would surely die of embarrassment before this disease got him again as he shoves his face into his pillow. J looks at Gwen and then at Teddy and back and forth before looking at Teddy and asking, "Boss is that true?" Teddy nods and simply says, "Ja."
Before J could say anything an explosion happened J got hit with pieces of the wall, Gwen disappeared and here is Captain America, "Here I am to stop you Hydra scum-" "Steve just stop. You've done this every day for a month. This is my room, not the room to fight the Henchmen. That's where the other window is. Now if you actually want to help-" Teddy holds up a finger and coughs up a couple more roses and way more blood. "Help J he got hurt in the explosion you caused." Steve just looks at Teddy, "What happened to you?" Teddy sighs, "Long version or short version?" "Um long?" Teddy looks at him, "I'm from a different universe, became homeless when I was forced into this universe, thought my sister was dead for two years til I saw her using a machine gun on some goons. Teamed up with people from the future to stop my sister from becoming a villain. Was forced to join hydra because I have nothing that shows I'm legal in this country because I'm from a different universe. Fell in love with this blonde Swedish guy, who I am convinced doesn't love me and caused me to develop Hanahaki Disease. I died due to it and was pulled out of hell by Squirrel Girl and My sister who is a member of the west coast avengers and now my favorite superhero has been blowing up the wall of my bedroom for the past month."
Steve just looks at him for a solid minute, "Um... I don't know what to say... So um where ya from kid?" "Brooklyn." "Same." After some awkward silence, Steve starts to help J and Teddy helps him as well. Steve looks at Teddy after they got J to the med bay at the Avengers mansion despite some strange looks from the other avengers, "Why are you sure J doesn't like you?" Teddy sighs, "Because I'm a loser. I don't know how to fight, I run away from danger and I'm scared whenever I hear gunshots, should I go on?" Steve looks at him, "Then how did you join hydra?" Teddy sighed ripped a hole in the universe and pull out Steve's journal, "I can do this." He tosses Steve his journal."
Steve was speechless, Teddy looked over at him. "So how did you and Batroc end up together?"

Chapter Text

"How did you know?" Steve asked Teddy. Teddy just handed him some photos of him and Batroc, "My sister and I have unique powers. It's hard to explain and very few can understand it. Ms. Marvel for example kept telling us that we didn't know anything about our powers or past for example." Steve looks over at J. "Does he know?" Teddy nods and coughs up some petals.
Tony walks in, "Okay so you brought two sick Hydra agents into the mansion and talked to them like you knew them for ages. Are you-" Steve looked over at Tony, "They are just kids, Tony. Plus one of them is the brother of a member of the avengers-" "West Coast Avengers don't count." Steve looked at him, "He is a fan of mine and it was my fault his crush got hurt." "Ah. Okay, that makes more sense. You feel guilty." Steve just gave him a look, and then Teddy coughed up more blood and petals.
Then Gwen pops back in, "Hey guys! Just popping in to see how things are going-" Teddy glares at her, Tony and Steve looked confused at her. "Stuff happened apparently I'll go again." Teddy sighs, "Why did you show up?" "Wanna have lunch with me and my friends?" Teddy throws a pillow at her. "See ya later then, bro!" And like that she is gone again.
Steve looks extremely confused. Tony looks over at Teddy, "Was that your sister?" Teddy nods, "Yes." "Are you mad at her?" "Yeah, she told J I was in love with him before I could say anything." "Fair enough." "Anyway, can I stay here to make sure-" Tony cut him off, "Yes, you can stay here with J."
So Teddy stayed next to J, day after day waiting for him to wake up. Gwen would pop in to check on him, and get him food and drink as well. "I'm sorry, I should have been paying more attention." Teddy smiles, "Thanks, sis... for apologizing and the food." "Don't mention it. We should hang out more. It's been a while." "Yeah, I think it was when I was in hell." Gwen nods, "Yeah... not a good place to reunite with your brother." "Yeppers."
Gwen sighs, "I should get going, but call me." Before Teddy could ask why she was gone. Teddy sighs and looks over at J before coughing up another bloody rose. J blinked and looked over at him, "T-Teddy?" He said it was more like a realization and not a question. Teddy hugs him, "J! You're okay! I was so worried about you." J hugs him back and smiles a bit, "Tackar, blåhaj." J looks up at him after the hug and touches his face with his hand. Teddy blushes and before he could cough J kisses them, "Jag älskar dig, blåhaj."
So they had to spend another month with the avengers so Teddy could cough up all the Roses and the heal. Teddy and J are cuddling and they are so- Teddy shushes, "No narration, just let me enjoy this moment." He says softly.

Chapter Text

Gwen and Quentin were cuddling on the couch as Jeff and GwenPig played with each other then there was a knock on the door. Gwen sighs and opens the door, "Hello- Teddy?!" Her brother smirks, "Um yeah, who else would it be?" Standing next to Teddy was J he waves at her awkwardly, "Hello, I'm also here." Gwen ignores him and hugs her brother.
When Teddy and J walk in, Jeff runs up and hops onto Teddy, "Aw Jeff likes you," Gwen says happily. J smiles, "Aw blåhaj." He says before kissing his cheek. Quentin looks at them, "So why are you guys here?" Teddy and J hold hands, "We quit hydra and need a place to stay." Gwen smiles happily, "THAT'S AWESOME!" Quentin looks confused, "You can just quit hydra? Just like that?" J shakes his head, "Nej, but we had some help to leave." Teddy nods, "Yeah! Captain America helped."
"Oh cool! How is Steve by the way?" Teddy smiles, "He is good, did you know that he and Batroc are dating?" Gwen nods, "Yeah he showed up at the M.O.D.O.K. Christmas party last year." Quentin blinks, "WAIT WHAT?! Those two are dating?!" J nods. Quentin looks at the Poole Siblings, "Wait so M.O.D.O.K. throws Christmas parties and you go to them?" Gwen shakes her head, "No he doesn't throw them anymore, it was for Mercenary Organization Dedicated Only to Killing aka M.O.D.O.K. M.O.D.O.K. ran before I took it over and Cecil sent him to space." Quentin and the rest just blink before Quentin asks, "So who all shows up to this party?" Gwen smiles, "Well there is Me, Mega Tony, Terrible Eye, Cecil, The Poole Boys, Vincent Doonan, Doctor Doom, Tony Stark, Batroc, Captain America, and Big Ronnie. Most just visit and then it's just the core members of the team who celebrate together for the whole holiday." Teddy questions, "The Poole Boys?" Gwen nods, "Yeah my henchmen." J blinks, "That just raises more questions!"Quentin looks confused, "Why is Tony Stark showing up to this party?" Gwen blinks, "Wait, didn't ya know he and Doctor Doom are dating?" "Since when?" J questions. "For a while, before the hellfire gala at least." Quentin blinks, "That's why they thought about each other so much."

Chapter Text

It's snowing in the big apple; it's Christmas time again! Gwenpool's favorite holiday, she had not one but two Holiday Specials! She wonders what she is going to do this year, Maybe they should try to one-up She-Hulk's Christmas party? She did get that Disney plus series recently So that would be hard or something crazy like an Illuminati Santa Claus team-up. She thought about it as she made some hot cocoa. Then someone knocked on the kitchen
"It's open!" Gwenpool said as she poured two mugs of hot cocoa. Teddy and Jeff the land shark walk in, "Thanks, Gwen!" He says as he grabs a mug of hot cocoa. Gwen smiles, "No problem." She says as she headed to the living room to give hot cocoa to everyone else. There Batroc and Victor von Doom talk, and Sarah, Mega Tony, Quentin, and J are playing video games. Gwenpool and Teddy hand out the hot cocoa and sits down with everyone as Jeff and Gwen-pig play.
After a while, Batroc looks at everyone, "What's ze plan for ze annual holiday party?" Gwen shrugs, "I don't know, I'm planning on inviting everyone we know." Batroc smiles and nods, Doctor doom nods, "You guys can have the party in my castle." Sarah raises her hand, "I can teleport everyone to the location." Mega tony smiles, "I'll bake cookies!" Gwen smiles, "Me and J can decorate." Quentin nods, "Me and Teddy will get the eggnog and the tree." Batroc nods, "Good, that's ze plan."
