After breaking free of his HYDRA programming, James 'Bucky' Barnes finds the world is very different from the one he left behind. With the help of friends and a therapist who is constantly pestering him, Bucky is given a pardon for his past crimes but as a condition of his parole, he needs to have a partner with him at all times.
The only problem is that his new partner is an absolute disaster.
Elena Constantin is a nightmare of a human being in Bucky's opinion. Too hostile, too brash, and certified bat shit crazy not to mention she has a bad habit of stealing his socks, making out with strange women, and turning every assignment into a fight for survival. Much to his annoyance though, she's the only person on the team who's not afraid of the parts of The Winter Soldier still lurking inside him. Somehow Elena knew before everyone else that HYDRA was a devil with the power to control a master assassin and they've met before.
As Bucky untangles the thread binding their lives together he finds that trying to live a normal life is way harder than any mission.

Summary
After a drunken brawl leaves a man dead, Steve Rogers is arrested and, on the advice of his lawyer, pleads guilty to manslaughter in hopes of a lesser sentence. Unfortunately, because of Steve's background and experience, he's given a sentence of five to ten years in a maximum-security prison.
Trapped in an endless sea of guilt and fear, Steve does whatever he can to survive this nightmare and not lose himself to the horrors and violence of prison life, especially the vicious abuse at the hands of cruel and sadistic prison guards.
The last thing Steve expects is to find a true connection with anyone, let alone fall in love. But there's something intriguing about his surly, miserable, mad-at-the-world bunkmate, Barnes, and whatever it is, it might be the key to both of them getting through this terrifying ordeal together.

He liked the place because next to one came here at this time. The guy, Batroc, his an incessant flirt seemingly intent on getting on Steve's nerves. But maybe Batroc wasn't so bad. His back and forth with the guy has him feeling more alive than he has since the ice. So he decides to flirt back, and things only get better from there.

Sam rolled his eyes, turning to Nat.
“Stop being a dick, I just keep up with the ongoing investigation. I’m not, like, obsessed or something.”
“Oh, you’re definitely obsessed, don’t even try to front here, Wilson.”
Sam wouldn’t say he was obsessed.
He just found the White Wolf fascinating.
No one even had an idea about who the White Wolf was. Nationality, gender, reasoning; no one had a clue and leads ran dry almost immediately on the cases. Sam had a few theories on why the White Wolf did the things that they did, but the theories weren’t conclusive, mostly speculation.

Basically Gwen ends up in an alternate universe instead of the canon one and meets heroes she's never met like Daredevil, but also vilains while she tries to be relevant and live her life.
A lot of events will still be modeled after the canon of her comic events but my main goal is to touch on her relationships since I realized (Yes I realized a lot of things today) that her and Batroc will never have their wholesome relationship again.
