The Different Types Of Kisses There Are

Summary:

Ijin and Sukjoo kiss differently depending on the situation. None of these short one-shots I've bundled into a story happen sequentially, they're completely separate from each other.

Notes:

None of these characters belong to me, all of these wonderful people are the work of YC, who is the writer, and Rakyeon who does the art. All credit to them for the characters.

Devouring Kisses
When Ijin and Sukjoo are at training, they’re constantly under watch from other people, so they couldn’t be as affectionate with each other, aside from a hand to help the other stand, or the passing of a water bottle where their fingers just barely brush up against one another. So when Ijin wasn’t posted on guard duty, and they were released back into the locker rooms to change, Sukjoo did so quickly, trying to escape the building as fast as humanly possible. Ijin always insisted on placing his uniform away perfectly folded, so it normally took him a little longer to clean up than other people.
The times when Ijin wasn’t posted on bodyguard duty were becoming more and more infrequent now that the SW corporation had realized his worth. So as Ijin was carefully folding his uniform into thirds and making sure the white shirt of his suit wasn’t wrinkled as he hung it, Sukjoo was growing impatient on the bench beside him, wanting to be home and kissing Ijin right at that moment.
When Ijin finally finished putting everything away, he shut his locker with a clang and turned to Sukjoo.
“I’m ready to go now,” He said in that quiet tone he always spoke in, as if he hadn’t just made his boyfriend wait forty-five extra minutes to leave. Everyone else was long gone at this point, rushing home to their families or to get dinner.
Sukjoo had had enough at this point, and backed up Ijin against the lockers, lightly pecking him on the lips as he pressed himself against Ijin. They both pulled back and looked at each other for a single moment before they pressed up against each other once more. They were devouring each other, kisses filled with passion and longing. Sukjoo let out a moan as Ijin began to suck on his tongue. Ijin pushed them away from the lockers and down onto one of the benches, so he was sitting on the bench, pulling Sukjoo to straddle his lap.
Just then, a fellow trainee decided to walk in, having forgotten his wallet. He saw Sukjoo and Ijin making out on a bench, and immediately apologized, shielded his eyes, grabbed his wallet, and rushed out.

“I’ve missed you” Kisses
Ijin had been gone for four months, reported MIA after going after a person who had attempted to kidnap Sukjoo. Sukjoo had been attempting to adjust to life without his friend, who he was beginning to begrudgingly admit he had feelings for under the unrelenting teasing of Yuna. Ijin had a small funeral about halfway through the second month of him being gone. His gravemarker was a simple one. It said his name, his date of birth, and his date of declared death.
So it was quite the shock when Ijin walked into the training gym two months after being declared dead. Sukjoo had been trying to clear his mind of Ijin, as his dreams were tormented with his failure of not being able to rescue Ijin from death.
Sukjoo stood in shock as Ijin walked closer. He had bandages wrapping up his neck, and a couple that Sukjoo could see around his left hand. Sukjoo lifted his hand up to about chest height. Ijin reached forward and intertwined their fingers, letting Sukjoo know that he was here. He was really here.
“Koh Sukjoo,” He said in a raspy voice as he stopped mere inches in front of Sukjoo. “I’ve missed you dearly” Ijin reached up with his non-injured hand, tilting the other’s chin up as he bent down slightly. “May I?”
Sukjoo licked his lips, which he now realized were very dry.
“You may.” He leaned up, right as Ijin leaned down.
Ijin kissed nothing like Sukjoo imagined he would. He was gentle, as if worried he might hurt Sukjoo by accident. His lips moved slowly and carefully as his hands gently fell on Sukjoo’s hips, urging him a little closer. Sukjoo was shocked. He always imagined Ijin kissing him roughly, the opposite of the gentle giant who he was currently lip-locked with.
So Sukjoo took initiative, and kissed back, a little harsher, pouring all the words he couldn’t put together into the kiss. Ijin met him exactly at the same level, ready to adjust the intensity if Sukjoo decided to back off. When they broke apart after what seemed like both an eternity and a single second, they were panting. Ijin leaned forward and pressed their foreheads together.
“Was that okay?” Ijin asked in an annoyingly soft and caring voice.
“More than okay.” Sukjoo took a large breath in. “Please feel free to do that whenever.”
“I’m back. And I won’t leave you again.” Ijin brought their lips together for another kiss.

Sad Kisses
Ijin was kneeling at the altar, placing a stick of incense down by the photo. Major Kang had died. Ijin was crushed when he found out. The man had been like a father to him. When he finally stood, his eyes were brimming with unshed tears, tears he couldn’t cry because his training wouldn’t let him. He looked at the sky. It was cloudless, a sunny day. Ijin cursed god for not sending rain to hide his sadness. He could always vanish in the rain.
“C’mere.” Sukjoo’s arms opened. His boyfriend had accompanied him to the grave site on the anniversary of his death. Ijin fell into the other’s arms, just wanting to be held. He gently wrapped his arms around the other’s waist, squeezing them closer. Sukjoo tilted his head up a little and kissed Ijin.
It was barely a kiss. Their lips brushed together, and Ijin’s eyes closed, a few tears leaking from the corners of his eyes. Sukjoo kissed them away, and leaned his forehead against Ijin’s.
The boy would eventually move on from the Major’s death the best he could, but for now, Sukjoo was content to let him be sad for as long as he needed.

First Kiss
Ijin and Sukjoo had been dating for a while now. They went on short dates as they walked home from the gaming center, rarely longer than forty-five minutes. Today, however, it was a school holiday. Ijin and Sukjoo decided to spend the day together and see where it took them.
The day took them to the top of a building. They were sitting on the edge, watching the sun set. Sukjoo was leaning slightly on Ijin’s shoulder. Sukjoo put a lot of thought into today’s date, right under Ijin’s nose.
“Ijin?” He asked softly
“Mmm?” The boy turned a little to look at him.
“Can I kiss you?” Sukjoo fully turned to face Ijin. The boy looked lost in thought completely. He stood up. Sukjoo scrambled to stand. “You don’t have to kiss me i just thought I’d-”
“You may. I just thought it would be a little awkward kissing on the edge of a building. I’m sorry if I caused you anxiety.” Ijin stepped closer to Sukjoo.
Their lips brushed up against one another before they pulled back to look into the other’s eyes. Sukjoo drew Ijin down again to fully kiss him. Ijin smiled into the kiss before kissing back. Both were happy when they went home that day.

Notes:

I understand that this is a ship that could never happen in canon, and I'm not trying to imply that something like this could happen. These are mostly writing prompts that I just wanted to write, and this was the ship I picked.
