Summary
Jason knew how things were supposed to happen.
He'd planned on heading back to Gotham to stir up a storm — tear the city down and build it up again. No one would ever again forget who he was least of all Bruce. Jason was going to carve his name all over the city.
But this was how things did happen.
Talia refused to let him burn out. Not taking no for an answer, she sent him to college and told him to watch over his little brother. She made him promise that he would live, not just fight.
So he found himself taking six classes at Gotham University, pretending like he was just another college freshman. And maybe he could’ve kept on acting, but Gothic Poetry and Horror had other plans.
(Or, Jason goes to college and ends up in a semester-long group lit project featuring literal and figurative ghosts, people willing to risk it all for the A, and Gotham City's cursed weirdness. Somehow, this ends up being more stressful than his original plan for revenge.)

Summary
The Red Hood was supposed to be a tool, not a person - and Jason himself had long given up on treating himself as one. In most timelines, it stayed this way, as he went on with his life after death without really living a single day. This isn't one of them. Here, a complete accident leads to Jason finding somebody to share his love of literature with. And then he meets Steph, with whom he eats pizza, and watches famous tv shows and movies he missed out on. And Ridhi, who's trying to set him up with her grandson. And Maurie, whose essays he proofreads. And another person, and another, and another. All of the sudden, he realizes he's not just surviving anymore - he's alive. He's really alive.
Months later, a Batarang still cuts Jason’s throat. Joker still breaths. Bruce makes the same choice he always does. Technically, nothing changes; but Jason didn't expect it to change. He just needed it to mean something - and mean something it did.

Jason Todd didn't expect to ever feel comfortable with his designation as an omega. He was too brash and too bold to fit the stereotype, something that only got heightened after the Pit. The Red Hood—with the help of scented patches for his glands—being a loud and proud alpha probably only the exacerbated the problem.
When they meet, problems will surely arise.

Don't know what to say or expect. Pick it up because I love omega jason and it seems like an interesting pairing.
Once he had set aside most of his anger—and replaced his bullets with rubber ones—Bruce had reforged their pack bond. Jason wasn't about to fuck up his glands enough to break it.
But his whole paragraph just rub me the wrong way because it seems that Jason it the one who needs to change to make amends. That he needs to forgo his earlier ways just so he can get his pack again and it is just conditional to him but what about Bruce? What does Bruce have to give up for this relationship to work cause as always in a fic where the Jason is with the Bats it seems like he's the only one giving things up. That he has to set aside his anger (like it's not valid), changing to rubber bullets? Why? Because Bruce doesn't tolerate killing?
And maybe I'm wrong but I don't know, will probably read more and see hiw it goes. Ch 2
