Chapter 1: Chapter 1 ~ the new boy

Summary:

This is what happens to George when he first walks into the school.

Chapter Text

George was walking into high school on the first day of school. He had just moved here over the summer and had no friends. As soon as he walked in, he came face-to-face with a few seniors. “Oh look what we have here, a little freshman,” they said to each other. “What's with the mushrooms? And you have earrings? That's pretty ‘girly’” they said to George. “Hey! Quit picking on the new kid. Don't you have better things to do?” Someone said, He then walked over to George and took his arm. “C’mon, let's get away from these jerks.” the boy said. George didn’t have time to respond, because the boy pulled him away, and into a classroom. He then introduced himself. “Hey, I'm Cla- Dream! What’s your name?” “i-im, George.” “Do you want to be friends?” Dream asked. “S-sure! “ George answered.

“What's your first class, George?” “Um, let me see.” George pulled his schedule out of his pocket and said “um it looks like I have maths first.” “Wow, same! I’ll walk you there.” Dream said. George could feel his cheeks getting pink, but he said “ok sure.”

They then walked down the hall to math class. “It looks like we have some time before class starts, do you want me to show you the other classes?” Dream asked. “Y-yes please,” George said. “Ok, let's go then!” Dream said, excitedly. Dream showed George basically the whole school. He showed him all of his classes, where the lunchroom was, where the gym was, etc. “Well, class is about to start, so we should get back to math,” Dream said. “Oh ok,” George responded. As they were walking back, the dream reminded George “don't listen to the seniors. They think they're so great because they are the oldest. Don't listen to them, ok George?” George was getting pretty red by this point, but he managed to say “o-ok Dream. Thanks.”
