“Can I dress you?”
“Would you?” Lucius stood in front of the mirror looking at his body, naked. He watched Izzy watching him in the reflection. He ran a hand down his neck, long fingers smoothing over his collarbone. Izzy’s eyes followed the movement before he swallowed and nodded.
“Yeah.”
Lucius looked back and pointed to a stack of clothes on the nearest surface. “I need a bralette and shorts.” He opened a tube of glitter lotion but Izzy barked, “No. I’ll do it.”
“Okay, we’re in a mood today, I see.” Lucius held the bottle in his hand but stayed still. Izzy laid the clothes nearby and took the tube of lotion from his hands.
“Face me.” Izzy squeezed a small amount and rubbed it onto Lucius’s chest. He rubbed in small circular motions, making Lucius shiver. Izzy smoothed it down his happy trail with one finger. “Now turn around.” The room was silent except for the hum of the air conditioner. Izzy brought straps over Lucius’s arms, and hooked the bralette in place. “Fit okay?”
Lucius felt speechless. Izzy had rarely touched him so tenderly. His tongue felt heavy in his mouth. “Yeah feels good.” Izzy squatted down and held out the shorts for Lucius to step into, lifting them up and arranging them just so.
Then he held Lucius’s hand lightly, and guided him to sit down. “Which shoes?”
“Whichever you think best.” Lucius watched Izzy scan over the row of heels. He selected ones that were sleek and black. He slid them onto Lucius’s foot like he was looking for Cinderella. He gently did the buckle. Then the next shoe. Lucius felt his scalp tingling in the soothing quiet. Izzy kissed the tip of his foot where the heel didn’t cover, nosing along his calf and inhaling deeply.
“What is all this for?” Lucius’s voice was nearly a whisper.
“Want to treat you right,” Izzy didn’t meet his eyes. “Don’t want you to think that I don’t care.”
“Did someone spook you? Come here.” Lucius held out his hands but Izzy didn’t stand, merely scooted closer. He laid his cheek on Lucius’s thigh.
“No one scared me.”
“Did you see something?” Lucius brushed his hand through Izzy’s hair.
“Some of the regulars, they’re really in love. Even after all this time.”
“Yeah. You know one part of that formula is communication?”
Izzy laughed dryly. “Yeah, yeah. Don’t push it.”
“I’ll push all I want. Now, help me up.” Izzy offered his shoulder for Lucius to lean on get to his feet. “You just wanted to kneel at my feet, didn’t you?” Izzy looked up at him and let his forehead fall forward against Lucius’s knee.
“Something like that.”
“All you have to do is ask. You know that.” Izzy didn’t look up, just ran a finger along the soft skin on the back of his knee. “Alright that tickles,” he laughed and jerked his leg back but Izzy held him in an iron grip.
“You’re beautiful. Don’t tell you that enough.” He kissed Lucius’s left knee. Then kissed the right one.
“You never tell me that. Are you sure something didn’t happen?” Lucius felt alarmed now.
“Nothing. Have a good show.” Izzy stood up and headed out of the empty dressing room. Lucius tilted his head and shrugged to himself.
“What crawled up his leather pants, I swear,” he muttered to himself and shrugged on his cropped jacket. “I do look good though,” he smiled at himself in the mirror and headed out to the floor.
