Good Morning, Midoriya!

I wanted to apologize on behalf of my class for what happened during the battle trials. I knew that analysis was a lot of work and money and the fact that All Might was asking it of you without offering anything in return was inappropriate, but I hesitated because he was the Number One hero, and that was wrong. I feel especially responsible, as I suspected that something was off, but I did not speak up. I want to assure you that I have learned from this, and in the future I will trust myself more.

I also want to apologize for the inappropriate remarks made about your Quirk status by my classmate, Mineta. As Class Representative, I want to assure you that I, and many others in Class 1-A, do not feel the same. You are very intelligent and it’s clear that you definitely belong in the halls of UA. Your analysis, what I heard of it, was incredibly insightful. Please do not take his words to heart. He says many things he shouldn’t, unfortunately.

Notes:

warning that there is mentions of mineta committing sa in here!! so please keep yourself safe and if this is triggering to you, there is no need to read the full story, you can stop once you reach the email to nedzu and don't even bother with the second chapter at all (it's mineta centric). nothing graphic is mentioned, it's not described or anything like that but just be aware and keep yourselves safe

---

BUT anyways my girl momo needed some attention because she is GOOD and i love her and i just KNOW she drinks her respect everyone juice. i do NOT take criticism on this i am sure of it she's a good girl.

also i am having a very bad like. pain day / bad emotional day / there's a lot going on this weekend that's triggering for me (mother's day being just. one of those many things, deep sigh, please don't wish me a happy mother's day in the comments or something like that) so if i do not respond to reviews / respond slowly, i apologize. my head is not on straight right now. i had therapy this morning and i'm already ready to have next week's session tbqh, so while updates should still be on time everything else might be wonky.

Thank you for sharing your analysis with us. Aizawa-sensei has made it clear that you are not going to be sharing the full analysis with us as All Might-sensei took advantage of you, and I would never dream of asking it of you, but what I heard from you speaking was very helpful, and I learned a lot about analysis in general while you were with us.

I appreciate your time, and again, I’m so sorry for what happened that day.

Wow, thank you for taking the time to reach out, Yaoyorozu, but really, you have nothing to apologize for. I understand that it’s hard to imagine someone like All Might doing something wrong, and it’s also hard to stand up to someone as important as All Might! We’re both just first years, so we shouldn’t be so hard on ourselves! I don’t hold you responsible at all, and I would love for you to let go of any guilt you hold as well.

If you need me to forgive you for you to do so, you may consider yourself forgiven.

As for Mineta... He is the only one who needs to apologize for his actions. If you aren’t already, you should consider recording his inappropriate actions. I have recorded what I have seen of him during the battle trials. I understand that he is related to someone in the school board, however, and a compilation of video evidence would be ideal. You don’t have to do so, of course, but it’s something to consider, if you or other people in your class feel unsafe.

I am under Present Mic’s personal tutelage, so I have good rapport with him and I could give this footage to him comfortably when it was ready, if you did not want to be connected directly.

Just something to consider.

Good Afternoon, Midoriya.

I apologize for the late response to your email. Before I made any choices, I wanted to speak with all the girls in my class and hear their thoughts. I did not want to make anyone uncomfortable. I’m sure you understand. The girls of Class 1-A are in agreement that the evidence against Mineta Minoru speaks for itself. You were right in your assumption that he makes many people in our class feel unsafe.

We spent the week recording any inappropriate incidents, and we would be grateful if you would pass them along when you reach out to Present Mic regarding this behavior, if that’s still something you are willing to do.

Additionally, I would love to commission an analysis of my Quirk sometime, if that’s not something too forward to request. Of course, you’re welcome to refuse. I would understand completely.

Thank you for all your assistance, Midoriya. We truly appreciate it.

No need for the apology, Yaoyorozu! This is something that you would definitely want to take your time with! I will make sure to handle this with care, and forward this information as well as the information that I have gathered to the right people. Don't worry; I won't name you as my source specifically. I’m quite positive that between myself and the girls of your class we have more than enough evidence gathered to have Mineta Minoru removed from UA.

Frankly, based on his past history, Mineta should not have been accepted at all. Unfortunately, his wrongdoings were often covered up due to his relations. I think it is only right that we correct that now, before he does more harm than he has to your class, or to other people, even. The way he has treated you and your fellow classmates is reprehensible!

As for commissioning me... Analysis is my backup career if I don’t make it into heroics. If you need analysis in the future, I’ll take personal commissions, only for things relating directly to yourself, at standard rates, but only after the Sports Festival, as I’m currently dedicating most of my free time to preparations for that and wouldn’t be able to give your analysis the proper attention, which wouldn’t be fair to you. If you’re still interested at that time, let me know then, and we can discuss what you’re seeking and what the rate would be.

Subject Line: Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Committed by a Heroics Student

Principal Nedzu,

During Class 1-A’s Battle Trials I personally witnessed Mineta Minoru make discriminatory comments towards myself and harass the girls in his class. I recorded these events, as I have had a history of not having authority figures believe me. Having listened to your public speaking, I am certain you understand why so I will not do you a disservice by over-explaining to you. Attached is the recordings of his actions that day; I could not keep it in one full video as recording a full class is not viable on my phone, unfortunately.

After Class 1-A’s Battle Trials, I have remained in contact with some members of the class and they have all witnessed Mineta Minoru discriminate against multiple minorities including people with Mutant-type Quirks, ‘weak and villain’ Quirks, Quirkless people, women, and LGBTQ people.

Of course, knowing Aizawa Shouta’s track record for expulsion, I thought it peculiar that a person with a history of such reprehensible behavior was still enrolled, so I did my own research, and found out about Mineta Minoru’s... familial relations. Politics can make these things terribly tricky, I know, so I continued my research, as my acquaintances told me they felt unsafe in their own classes, and that just didn’t sit right with me, as I’m sure you understand.

My acquaintances also began to record their own interactions with Mineta wherever possible for their own safety as well; as you can see in many of these recordings, Mineta often threats the girls in his class with sexual assault or harassment, and they needed their own records of this in case he would later try to claim they consented! Here is Class 1-A’s recordings; please keep in mind this is only one week’s worth of recordings and consider that they have been dealing with this for nearly three weeks when you watch these.

I found Mineta also has a prior history of this sort of thing. I spoke to many girls who shared with me testimonies of their assaults; they attempted to report this to the school they attended with Mineta, but the school threw out any record of assault or punished the victims. They gave me permission to record their testimonies, of course, and I also have a document of their names so you can speak with them personally to verify this and get any documents that you might need as well.

I hope this is sufficient evidence to help any investigations you might need to do. And I know it might not be my place, but... for the sake of any woman that might be ‘rescued’ in the future by Mineta Minoru, I hope you might consider blacklisting him from heroics.

Thank you for your time.

Chapter 2: Chapter Two

Summary:

No one had the right to tell him no.

He was rich, powerful, on top of the world, and one day, he’d be on top of UA.

His father always said so.

So he didn’t understand why this was happening.

Principal Nedzu sat in front of him, two cups of steaming tea on his desk, one for Nedzu himself and one for Minoru. Minoru did not touch the tea. He wasn’t here for anything nice, or good; why would he drink tea with the principal like he wanted to be here? This shouldn’t be happening! His father was on UA’s board! His mother was a HPSC employee!

This shouldn’t be happening! They couldn’t threaten him with expulsion!

Notes:

there's really heavily implied assault at the beginning of this, then the rest of this is nedzu outright saying they have evidence and an abuser getting what he deserves. so like. if mentions of sa is triggering, don't read this or be careful at least, okay?

---

this is straight up mostly just nedzu bullying a child, as is his right

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Minoru had grown up being told he could have anything he could want — including people. If he ever got in trouble at school, his father made the problem go away. That was the nice thing about money. If someone told Minoru no, he never took them seriously — he was wealthy; there was no reason for them to deny him. If he wanted a girl, he went for her, and if she said no — she was just playing hard to get.

His father was on UA’s board!

“What do you mean you have exchanged emails with a student and there’s video and audio evidence of me committing sexual assault? That’s not possible!”

“Now, now, don’t forget the sexual harassment and discrimination against multiple minorities. And let’s not leave out the fifteen testimonies from young women who had the misfortune of meeting you prior to UA who repeatedly tried to report you but were blocked at every turn by your school shortly after your school received a large sum of money each time, interestingly — we’ve found video evidence for most of these, as well!” Nedzu smiled widely, showing every one of his teeth, and it was very unsettling. It looked unnatural on his face. “I personally conducted an investigation and got many of these videos myself.”

“None — none of this is real! They’re all lying! This — this is doctored! Everyone’s out to get me because they — they don’t want me to be on UA’s board one day!” Minoru declared. He felt like he was searching for straws. He tried to imagine many of his classmates being intimidated by him.

He thought of Bakugou and Todoroki, tried to imagine those two being intimidated by him, and whimpered.

Nedzu smiled even wider, and it was perhaps the most terrifying thing Minoru had ever seen. He was grateful he turned down the offer of tea, even if that stupid cup of tea sat on the desk, taunting him, because if he had any liquid in him right now he’d be pissing his pants.

“I am widely considered the smartest being in the world, Mineta Minoru. Do you really think someone could get falsified content past me?” The principal’s voice remained casual, friendly, even.

Minoru knew it was the voice of a predator all the same.

“Still, let us reassure you that this is real content. Why don’t we watch all four hours of evidence so I can assure that your expulsion and the black mark on your record is justified?”

The only thing Minoru can do is nod, though at this point, all he really like to do is take the expulsion and black mark and run as far as he can from that smiling face.

Notes:

izuku: hey i started an investigation for you
nedzu: i am going to keep this one
shouta, dying inside: first you tainted my husband by mentoring him, now you're stealing the kid he's inevitably going to adopt therefore my future son?? why must you do this to me??
nedzu: :)
everyone: how did you verbalize that
nedzu: :)

Notes:

why did izuku tell momo he was sending it to present mic then send it straight to nedzu? well that's what we call a logical ruse

i mean what else would present mic do but send it to nedzu after izu sent it to him anyways, so why not skip the middleman, right?

---

nedzu, shaking his head: oh aizawa, you might want to offer that raise you wanted to midoriya izuku

---

izuku: i've never met the principal and nedzu's supposed to be terrifying but yolo, idgaf
half the teachers, upon learning this first year just casually told nedzu what to do with some kid: god this kid is terrifying, and all might thinks he shouldn't be a hero? if he's not a hero what if he's something SCARIER??? no thank you, enroll him in class 1-A immediately
