Chapter Text
"Come on... Let's go home." Amura said with a soft smile and dragged the boy by his hand.
Walking back to Sissy's house, to see the other members of the Umbrella Academy waiting outside, finally ready to leave.
Diego gave the briefcase to Five, "Everyone ready?" The boy asked.
"Let's do it, yeah." Luther just said.
"Okay." Five said, readying himself to travel them back to 2019 with the briefcase.
"All right." Luther just muttered while they held onto each other.
"Wait!" Klaus suddenly exclaimed and left the circle to get his hat that was resting on the front door.
"Fifty bucks if we leave him here." Diego whispered to them.
"A hundred if we left you instead." Amura whispered back that earned a smile from the others.
Finding their argument, childish.
When Klaus went back, they all held each other tightly and pulled each other closer.
And then suddenly, Amura remembered what her mother just told her.
"You're going to change destiny... Twist the fate... You will do so many great things and will save people."
"Wait! Wait..." Amura stopped Five from opening the briefcase.
"What is it this time?" Diego rolled his eyes at her.
The girl ignored his question and took the case from the boy's hand.
Using her powers to look into Five's sight. She saw his future.
Past the black end as they already changed the future and saved Five from his death.
In the boy's sight, she saw new futures, and she was excited to see them all.
She shook her head and told herself to focus, looking for the futures wherein they will get to go home to their 2019.
Seeing some futures of them warping into a same timeline but an alternate one such as, the future wherein there were 'Sparrow Academy' instead of the 'Umbrella Academy'.
And thankfully, she saw what she was looking for.
The future wherein they actually stopped Vanya from destroying the moon that destroyed the Earth.
Amura went back to reality, looking at the Hargreeves siblings in the eyes.
"Do you all trust me?" She asked them.
"Of course." Five immediately answered which earned a small smile from her.
"Depends." Diego just said.
"What do you have in mind anyway?" Luther asked that earned an eye roll from the girl.
Of course the others won't trust her as much as Five do.
"Alright... We can't go back to 2019 without any plan... It's quite risky. We might warp into an alternate future." She started to explain.
"And to prevent that, we should go back to the time when Vanya was locked in that cell."
They all looked at the girl and waited for her explanation, indicating that they are all ears to whatever she was planning.
"But what about the paradox psychosis?" Luther asked when he thought about the initial plan.
"I have thought of a plan that will get the 'us' of that timeline to go to 1963 for us not to disappear and a plan to save the world from the apocalypse, for real... This time."
"But we cannot do it if you don't trust me." The girl waited for their answer.
And she was glad they all nodded at it, "I'm in."
"Two birds in one stone, of course I'll agree to that."
"I would trust you more than I would trust Five." Diego stated earning a glare from the said brother.
Amura smiled at them and gestured for them to go inside Sissy's house for a moment.
Because it might take a moment to explain what she have in her mind.
The Hargreeves siblings scattered at the living room, finding a place to be comfortable at.
"Alright... Starting with that question from Luther." Amura started while standing in front of them.
"The paradox psychosis won't be a problem, you won't be meeting yourselves... IF. you all will listen to my instructions." She made an emphasize the word 'If' very obviously to them.
"Paradox psychosis?" Klaus asked clueless.
"Just... If you see yourself or even get near yourself, you will die." Amura briefly explained.
"That's one way to say it." Five muttered under his breath.
"To prevent you all from meeting yourselves, I will be the only one to gather you all together."
"That was why I asked you if you trust me." Amura said while they all just listened to her.
"Okay, good." She said, taking their silence as a signal to continue.
"At that moment, me and Five were together... In the Gimble Brothers, returning Delores." She gestured to the boy.
"Allison and Luther was in the infirmary, Klaus and Diego were in their own room, and Vanya was locked." The girl used her powers to look into where they were located that time.
"How will you actually convince us?" Allison asked, quite skeptical of the plan.
Amura took a deep breath at that, "That'll be a problem for the future me."
"Don't you worry about that, what I needed for you all to do is..." Amura shook her head at that certain problem.
She pointed at Luther, "I want you to open Vanya's cell door, Allison you put her to sleep."
"Vanya, I want you to stay away from yourself as far as possible but not upstairs, alright?" She asked the woman who nodded at that.
"Klaus, Diego and Five, I want you all to keep me in place... My time travelling power wasn't exactly like Five's..." Amura started to explain when she saw Klaus and Diego's confused faces.
"I'm travelling by exchanging my subconsciousness to my past self, meaning when I time travel to my past, the one that'll be inside me, is the past me." She tried to explain but the two men were still confused.
"We'll just need to keep her in place until she's finally back." Five stated, fully giving up on explaining her power to them.
"Alright... Continuing, when we finally placed the asleep Vanya of that timeline to the living room, with the help of Luther... I will commence my attempt to convince all of you." She ended with a sigh.
"So... Let's go?" Amura asked nervously smiling at them.
"I'm anxious about this." Allison said and stood up from her seat.
The others followed suit and held each other's hands once again, pulling each other closer.
"Don't worry, I am too... But I'm not letting that stop me, if I need to knock you all out and warp you all to 1963 then I will do it." The girl looked at them with determination in her eyes.
Five held her hand tighter, "I know you can do it." He said and smiled.
But when he noticed his siblings' eyes, he cleared his throat and the smile disappeared from his face.
"Let's go." He just said and warped them all to 2019.
Specifically at the basement where Vanya was locked.
All of them-except from Five and Amura-were panting and gasping at the travel.
Holding onto each while being wobbly on their feet.
"There she is." Amura said and looked at Vanya, crying and shouting inside the cell.
But she wasn't heard at all.
"Diego, Klaus, go and take Vanya away from here for a moment." The girl instructed which the two obliged.
The Vanya of their timeline walking along beside her brothers, didn't actually know how to feel about seeing herself in their.
Maybe other than the itchiness she was feeling, she also felt sad for herself.
"Luther." The girl called which he nodded at.
The large man approached the cell door that the past him locked and used his strength to open it.
"Vanya... I'm so sorry." Luther told his sister who was sobbing.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..." She cried, looking at her brother and sister, not knowing they aren't the ones from her timelime.
"We're sorry too Vanya..." Allison said and walked to her, stroking her hair while looking at her with sadness and pity.
The woman looked at her and noticed her sister's sudden change of appearance, even the wound on her throat was gone.
"Alli-"
"I heard a rumor... That you fell asleep."
And with that, Vanya fell asleep in Luther's arms.
The large man carried his sister as if she weigh nothing.
"She's good now." Allison told Amura who approached them, Five was following beside her.
The girl took a deep breath and looked at the Hargreeves siblings, "I'm not sure if I can do this, but I want to try something." She said before lending her hand out.
Closing her eyes and using her power on Vanya.
Searching for that sight wherein Vanya destroyed everything, killed Pogo and ended the world.
When she saw it, Amura tried to take that sight and transfer it to the woman, touching her head.
The girl's hand emitted a light in a color of amethyst, sending all the memories from that alternate timeline when Vanya lost control.
And when the brunette was finished, she pulled herself away with a gasp.
Obviously not that used to transferring her sights on another person, but she thought of it before.
In theory, but not in practice.
Five held the girl who was panting, "What did you do?" The boy asked.
Amura took a deep breath and stood up properly, "I transferred the sight from when she caused the apocalypse..."
"Why did you do that?" Luther asked, getting mad at the girl.
"We shouldn't change the past, alright? At least the memories of it... If ever she never knew how her powers destroyed everything, then she'll be bound to repeat them." Amura said explaining it with a snarl.
The girl took a deep breath to calm herself, "I know what I'm doing Luther, and the only thing I wanted you all to do is to trust me."
Luther also took a deep breath before nodding, "Alright."
"Now take her to the living room, as quiet as you can, then settle down here after doing so." The girl instructed.
"Me and this timeline's Five will gather everyone and will travel to 1963." Amura said before travelling back to the Amura of that timeline.
