Summary
Once Alex has pulled out, Henry turns over to face him. He strokes the hair softly away from his face and Alex smiles at him.
“So… that happened again.”
Henry leans forward and kisses him on the forehead. “Indeed.”
There’s a sort of thoughtful pause, where Henry can see Alex working to pull together the right words. “I’m not sure I’ve ever seen you that… thirsty?”
“Oh, bugger off,” Henry says, but he’s laughing. It’s a fair description.
“No, but I mean it. You were like… urgent. It was hot.”
“It felt hot. I liked waking up like that. With you up against me, trying to have your way with me.”—
Set in and around the Henry bonus chapter, this is a story about Henry and Alex’s hectic schedules, family appearances etc. pulling them apart, and about what starts to happen between them, in the quiet of night: their sleeping bodies turning to each other, finding their sweet spots and opening up. And Alex and Henry learning a lot about each other in the process

Summary
Alex and Henry broke up five years ago, but Alex hasn't stopped loving him. When he's asked to return to London and go to an event where he'll see Henry again, he's not sure he can take the heartbreak, but he does as a favor for the new president. All he's ever wanted to know is why Henry left him, but he doesn't think he'll ever get the answer.
While at the party, he meets a little boy with big brown eyes, dark hair, and a familiar smile. And he much prefers his company to any of the other snobs attending.

Tuesday September 11th, 2001 9:45am EST
A somewhat frantic-sounding voice crackled over the Airband and into Henry's ears. "Flight UA 6486, this is JFK control. You are ordered to immediately redirect course to Halifax YHZ. I repeat, immediately redirect course and land at Halifax YHZ. Over."
Henry looked at the radio control on the instrument panel, confused. "We're almost within distance to begin descent, why are they redirecting us?" He said.
"Couldn't tell you, darling," Pez replied from the copilot seat, equally confused. "Not like Halifax is exactly proximal."
"JFK control this is flight UA 6486, we're nearly in range to begin descent. Any reason we can't reroute to LaGuardia instead? Over." Henry asked over the microphone.
There was a long pause before the voice crackled back, "There's been an attack in New York. All flights are to be grounded immediately. Two planes have hit the World Trade Center. Lock your cockpit door and beware of intrusion attempts. Over."
