Summary
Damian loves in ways he shouldn't. Bruce does too, and they both burn like pyres in the night, always a signal to each other, their flames however, never entwined. Damian spirals into rage and jealousy while the object of his desire, Bruce, is trying desperately to forget he yearns for a flesh that is partly his own. But green eyes haunt him and daggers stalk his dreams; they cut and cut and cut demanding blood, asking for sacrifice.
Then, when Poison Ivy blows a special kind of pollen in their faces, both their wounds open, and all those daggers sever every safety net they’d both built in the hope that it would ease their fall.
