Work Text:
“This needs to be done by tonight.”
He barely glances up as another pile of papers was slapped onto his table, big enough to call for his attention probably - but he decides to ignore it. Maybe it will go away? The paper he was currently working on was too important to divert his attention from even for a fraction of a second. Or so he thought.
“Listen to me, Kang Yeosang.”
He sighs, glancing up from his computer and fingers stilling. The person currently leaning onto his table ‘gracefully’ was no other but his best friend Jung Wooyoung, a notorious attention seeker and sadly his superior. Yeosang sighs even more at his thoughts, wondering how he had gotten into this mess in the first place.
“I heard you the first time, Wooyoung-ah.”
The man squinted his eyes at Yeosang, huffing, before leaning into his personal space in an attempt to bite his shoulder.
“Yah-!”
He fends the man off, quite easily, and glares at him in feigned annoyance.
“This is attempted biting during work hours, should I report you?”
“Hah, as if you would do that,” Wooyoung sticks out his tongue as the brat he is before crossing his arms, raising an eyebrow. “You wouldn’t, right?”
Yeosang pretended to think about it, “Well, the fines on vampires’ carelessly biting their poor human coworkers are quite high. Easy made money-”
“I can’t believe you,” the man pointed at him, pouting. “Am I just a way for you to make quick money? After all those years?”
“You will be if you won’t let me finish this report and then work on the ones you just brought me, some people do want to go home and sleep.”
“It’s not my fault that you need sleep.”
Wooyoung laughs before pointing at the pile of papers Yeosang had hoped would magically disappear. If vampires are real, can’t magic as well? Sometimes Yeosang wished it would.
“I hope you’re joking.”
“Never~ why would I?” Wooyoung’s sweet voice sang, a ting of teasing in it. No, not a ting, it was heavily filled with it. He could feel his annoyance rising.
Why is he my superior again ?
“This,” he points at the stacked up papers on his desk, those who are almost falling down as they are chaotically put down. On his desk, “are you’re papers, your work! I won’t do them for you, Wooyoung!”
His friend has the audacity to laugh right into his face before he pulled the biggest puppy eyes, a pout on his lips as he leans over Yeosang’s desk, almost knocking over the pile of documents he brought along. Yeosang leans back in his chair to get some distance between them. The farther he was away, the less likely he was to give in.
“Please, do me a favor, will you!” His friend said in a whiny high voice. “I have a date. A date ! Don’t be a party-pooper, please.”
Yeosang sighs, rubbing his face in fake annoyance. Yes, fake annoyance, it takes way more to get Yeosang riled up and Wooyoung, sadly, knows this as well. That’s the curse of knowing someone for half of your life.
“What do I get in return from you?”
“I can give you one more day free next month, what do you say? Around your vacation date? I know it’s important to you.”
Those wiggly eyebrows Wooyoung shows make him look away pointedly. And no, he’s not blushing thank you very much.
“Make it two-”
“Two? Are you insane-”
“Do you know how many papers those are? I will be here at least till midnight!”
Wooyoung looks defeated as he finally leans back, nodding. “Two days, I will arrange that.”
“Good, then get going will you, I have to finish those.”
His friend giggled at his attempt to make him go away and jumps around his desk in a happy way. Yeosang almost shrieks as Wooyoung leans down and presses a kiss against his cheek. Those cold lips disappear just as fast but leave a tingle on his skin behind. He whipped his head around to slap his friend but his office is already devoid of any person, damned be a vampire’s speed. Heaving a big sigh, Yeosang’s eyes drift back to the pile of papers only to notice that they had scattered all over the desk and the ground.
“Damn you, Jung Wooyoung!”
Four hours later, it’s just past 8 pm and Yeosang is still in the office, already working one hour of overtime. Not that he had much of a choice here really with Wooyoung not only being his superior but also his friend, he could never decline him when Wooyoung had been so excited to meet this guy for a while now. Not that Yeosang had a name or a face, but if his friend was happy he was as well-
Just that working so much more was annoying .
Not that Yeosang hated working for The Ministery of Vampire Integration and Acceptance . Working in such an inclusive space had its perks. Both humans and vampires viewed people such as him as some sort of mediator between species and appealed to him in their best ways - which, to be honest, always amused Yeosang to no end. A human is more easily persuaded than a vampire, in their opinion, so some try to butter him up usually. What they didn’t know - many if not most vampires working here were too softhearted, really.
Very soft-hearted.
Like the vampire who just slipped into his office with a concerned frown directed at Yeosang.
“You’re still here?”
Yeosang smiled awkwardly at his co-worker, feeling caught. It’s not like Yeosang did something wrong but still , he shouldn’t be here right now.
“Yeah, I have some more work to do.”
“Yeosang-ah, don’t overwork yourself,” the man took the spare chair Yeosang had in his office and sat down across from him, head in hands, pouting. “Want me to help you?”
“No, it’s okay Sannie.”
The vampire whines in disagreement, reaching for Yeosang’s hand to make them stop working. He’s a diligent worker, really, but who could fight the touch of the Choi San? Resident heartthrob and maybe the man Yeosang lost his heart to? The vampire who had him wrapped around his finger so easily?
“Let me stay at least!”
“But Byeol is waiting for you.”
“She can survive a few more hours alone, she’s a big girl.”
Yeosang knows exactly what he’s referring to. Byeol loved attention just as much as her owner but she loves to be alone to roam San’s apartment and make it hers . A pretty kitty with a will of her own.
He sighs, shoulders slumping as he casts his gaze towards the clock, seeing the clock's hands move. San shakes their hands to regain Yeosang’s attention.
“Please?”
And truly, what can could he say against that? San was hard to say no to.
“If you get me some coffee I’m inclined to allow you to stay.”
In a blink of an eye, San’s gone and stays gone for a few minutes. Yeosang picked up Wooyoung’s files again, slowly immersing himself in his work again, so much so that he didn’t notice how San came back and placed the mug on his table, and neither noticed how San just sat down to watch him.
It takes another hour before Yeosang feels the sleepiness seep in. Blinking the sleep away, he finally notices the mug of already cold coffee before his eyes and finds a dozed off San sitting still on the chair, arms crossed and head falling sideways. Smiling, he takes a sip of the cold coffee which, admittedly, isn’t as good as it could’ve been a while ago but just the fact that San had actually gone out of his way to get it for him was enough for Yeosang to consume it.
With newfound energy and a few hidden glances stolen at San’s sleeping figure, Yeosang resumes his work and practically flies through the rest of it, time slowly getting closer to midnight.
As he shuts down his computer and sorts his paperwork, Yeosang stands up and rounds his table to stand by San’s side. As Yeosang looks down at San’s sleeping figure, he can’t help but feel the old giddy feeling he had when he first met San resurface. The ‘I just saw you but I might like you’ type of giddiness he only ever felt with the vampire. Giddy but also content. Where does one possibly find someone who would willingly wait for hours for one to finish their work instead of going home?
Smiling, Yeosang leaned down and gave San a light peck, lips tingling at the cold skin underneath.
San, of course, wakes up immediately and whips his head around, wide eyes staring up at him and Yeosang was sure if the vampire could blush, he would’ve.
“Did you just…?”
Yeah, okay, maybe it wasn’t normal for Yeosang to initiate skinship let alone kiss San. Even after all this time he still felt a bit shy with such an open display of affection.
“Whatever,” he tries to dismiss as he turns and retrieves his belongings, getting ready to head out. “Ready? Let’s go.”
San lets him out in front of his apartment but not without reaching over the middle of his car, giving Yeosang a deeper yet sweet kiss. A good night's kiss if one might call it that. Yeosang steps away from the car with a warm feeling in his chest which only got stronger on his way up to the door as San was still there, waiting for him to safely make it into the building.
Really, what did he do to deserve San?
When he turns on the light in his apartment, Yeosang takes a glance outside just in time to see that San was slowly driving off.
What a weak man Yeosang was, and it was all Choi San’s fault.
“How much paperwork has he given you today? Do I need to scold him?”
San fixated him with an ‘I will if I have to’ look and Yeosang almost blushed at that, almost . Instead, he beckons San over to join him as he’s currently eating lunch. He had a client coming in this afternoon so he needed to eat a bit earlier than usual.
“Nothing of such sorts,” Yeosang says as San takes the spare chair and sits down at his side unlike the night before, knees touching due to their close proximity. San’s hand immediately searches for Yeosang’s but falls onto his knee instead since Yeosang needed both hands to eat. The cold touch sends a shiver down his spine as the fingers move slightly over his knee. Yeosang should be used to it by now but alas he was not. Meanwhile, San peeked over his shoulder to see what exactly he was eating. Sometimes he appeared more like a cat than a vampire. “He came by to tell me that my additional vacation got approved.”
That has San perk up, wide eyes staring at him. Yep, very cat-like.
“Additional vacation?”
Yeosang only hums as he resumes eating.
“Don’t tease me, Yeosangie! What are you talking about?”
He smiles at San’s whining and eats up before he answers: “For working not only overtime but doing work that isn’t mine, to begin with, even out of my jurisdiction, I demanded two extra days of vacation from Wooyoung - on top of what I already have next month.”
San makes a noise of excitement as Yeosang explains.
“Wooyoungie is seriously too soft for you. I can’t believe he got that approved so easily.”
“Says his soulmate,” Yeosang says as it is a matter of fact but he has to agree, knowing your superior since childhood had its benefits. That Wooyoung is a vampire made it only more effective, the soft spot the man had for him coming in handy.
“Said Soulmate brought me to you so I shouldn’t complain.”
Yeosang was about to agree when he felt a cold touch on his cheek, an icy kiss given to him unexpectedly. It only lasted a second but Yeosang still jerked away in surprise, feeling a blush creeping up on his skin. San laughed happily at his reaction, feeding off of Yeosang’s shy reactions around him.
“You’re so cute.”
Maybe the kiss lingers on for a while longer; maybe a better place was kissed later as well.
“You see, we’ve been together for fifteen years! Fifteen! And I’ve known that he’s a vampire for more than twenty! We know what commitment we will agree on.”
A woman in her forties says to him, her eyes mirroring a determined look. Next to her is a man who doesn’t look older than thirty but is already on his way to fifty - his birth certificate saying so. Vampire’s aged so slowly that it was truly hard to tell how old they are sometimes, even for professionals like him. Those two had applied to a turning.
Turning from a human to a vampire - rarely was it none-humans wanting to be vampires.
Ever since the law reform had set in around half a decade ago, people were forced by law to make a formal application for a turning to ensure safety for both parties involved. During the early stages of coexisting had forced turning to become a thing and not a small number of people had lost themselves to insanity because of it. Changing one entire life by a single bite could throw off even the strongest person. Not to ignore the violation of each person's right to freely decide over their own lives.
That’s why those who want to get turned not only need a psychological assessment but also an appointment with people like Yeosang who either approve or disapprove of a turning.
For those two he’s pretty sure that a turning would be successful. Her assessment showed that her mental health was stable just as much as her body is healthy, and her own desire to be turned very evident. Yeosang could cross out the suspicion of forced turning almost immediately. The man, on the other hand, had some pre-recorded mental health issues which got better with therapy over time, and for the entire time, those were documented she had been at his side. Yeosang saw that as a good sign, they definitely had their up and downs but they’re still together and even desire to spend almost eternity together.
“Mrs. Choi, since when have you two been talking about your turning?”
“For the past three or four years,” she answers and her words seem honest, her expression relaxed and without any telltale of lying. “To be honest we thought about getting children and we do still want some,” she turns to her husband who smiles at her encouragingly. “I want to spend as much time with my husband and my future children as possible, so the option of turning became very attractive to us. It may sound like we only want this because we want vampire children but that’s not it! Please believe me, Mr. Kang. It definitely influenced our decision, that much is true, but it wasn’t the deciding factor.”
He hums as he takes notes, keeping an eye on both of them.
“What about you, Mr. Choi? How are you seeing it, sir?”
The man seemed surprised to be talked to but quickly caught himself, sitting a bit more straight as he answers Yeosang.
“I would love her no matter what she is, no matter if she’s vampire or human, no matter if we would have children or not. My heart belongs to her. I’m fully supporting her decision on the turning.”
Satisfied with the answer Yeosang ends his notes there, saying that he will write a positive note for them and that their turning application should be approved soon.
“The official approval and appointment will be sent to you as soon as possible. I wish you the best for your future. If anything comes up please do not hesitate to reach out to me.”
The pair thanks him a thousand times before they leave his office quite happily. With a good feeling Yeosang finish up the report and writes them a good note, sending the documents to Wooyoung who needs to check them before it goes to his superior. The chain is endless but that’s just how it is. Turning wasn’t just a thing you suddenly decided to do, so a few more days of waiting surely wouldn’t make that much of a difference.
“Coffee?”
Yeosang laughed at the sugary sweet words said in complete innocence next to him.
“Sure,” he agrees as he turns toward the voice, trying to keep down the smile. He fails miserably.
A cup of freshly brewed coffee is given to him as he leans against the counter, eyeing the vampire in amusement. Yeosang takes a sip of his drink, deeming it alright before he side eyes the other with amusement.
“I hope you know that if you weren’t Choi San, this could be interpreted as stalking, right?”
San gasps in fake hurt as Yeosang takes another sip, raising his eyebrow at the vampire’s reaction.
“I would never stalk anyone!”
Yeosang hums when San takes himself a bag of blood out of the refrigerator, pouring himself a cup of what Yeosang can only assume is San’s favorite: blood type A - funnily enough also Yeosang’s blood type. He watches in fascination as the man downs the cup as if he was a starved man, blood tainting his pretty lips.
Not being able to resist the urge Yeosang leans forward and wipes the blood off of San’s lips with his free hand. The vampire is frozen for a second before he turns and takes Yeosang’s thumb into his mouth, leaping up the blood.
For a hot second, the tension between them makes the air thick, takes Yeosang’s breath away, heart ready to skip a few beats. Even San’s tongue is cold, not that Yeosang didn’t know that, he just forgets it sometimes. And the feeling of it running over Yeosang’s skin send a shiver down his spine.
“Not at the workplace!”
They jerk away when one awkward Wooyoung enters the break room, Park Seonghwa with him. Blushing at being caught doing something … what were they even doing? Yeosang isn’t so sure himself, he only knows that he would never want a repeat of that situation.
“We weren’t even doing anything,” Yeosang tries to reflect but is cut off by Wooyoung.
“ Nothing ? Your- your thumb-!”
Wooyoung pulls a face and that’s the moment they break, both San and Yeosang finding the situation quite funny - or maybe they’re masking their nervousness by laughing it off. Seonghwa, a man Yeosang had talked to a few times before, smiles at them with a mischievous glint in his eyes before putting his hand on Wooyoung’s waist and effectively shutting him off. Wide-eyed Wooyoung loses all ability to speak as he’s guided out of the break room with ease.
Yeosang stares after them for a moment before his eyes fall onto San who looked at him at the same moment, they stare at each other for a bit before they laugh once more, just then truly understanding what had just taken place. And that someone like Wooyoung could be shut off this easily.
“Need to use that information on him soon,” San agreed.
“New weakness unlocked.”
Yeosang, really, is a quiet and patient person usually, keyword: usually . Though, he hardly can be calm when a frantic maniac (-he loves him) burst through his door as soon as he opened it and tackles Yeosang to the ground. Vampire strength be damned, the impact was quite hurtful. At that point, he still would've understood his best friend and maybe forgiven him for his intrusion. That feeling vanished as soon as Wooyoung had demanded for Yeosang to get ready - and Yeosang didn't know why.
In retrospect, he should've known.
A company party Yeosang had explicitly said he wouldn't attend because his ex-girlfriend from a different division would be there and he did everything to avoid her; they didn't part on good terms. So, yeah, Yeosang didn't want to go, had been allowed to stay home, and forgot all about it until-
"You can't do that! Sannie is waiting for you."
"I told him I wouldn't attend!"
"Maybe but he's still sad that you won't show up. Come on, you don't even have to talk to her, just talk to San-ah! This is the only time San can show you off!"
His patience had run out the second he had stepped inside the location - a buzzing room with employees stacked upon each other, atmosphere light and a bit charged, alcohol already consumed in masses. Wooyoung had pointed vaguely into a direction saying 'San-ah should be there' and disappeared right after because apparently, his best friend's date had been another high-ranked employee from another division. His guess was Seonghwa. Yeosang had half a mind to argue with him but knew all too well that he would be unavailable for the rest of the night.
Being quiet had its perks, so much so that Yeosang got past the majority of the crowd without being spotted by a single person until even that luck apparently ran out.
Because she saw him, and of course approached him immediately, her intent written all over her face.
"Chaehyeon, fancy meeting you here," he said but the young woman in front of him leveled him with one quick gaze.
"Didn't expect to see you here," her voice was quiet, like always, and he almost gave in to those smooth words. Almost . Half-nymphes be damned. "Where's your loverboy?"
On the inside he couldn't help but sigh at the slight accusatory tone she threw at him, outwardly Yeosang smiled. He and Chaehyeon had a quick relationship shortly after high school and thought they would last, that was until Wooyoung introduced him to San, and his feelings had changed. What Chaehyeon made him feel was a crush; San on the other hand felt as if he was the person Yeosang wanted to spend his life with. She didn't take that kindly. Especially after she tried to lure him back in with her powers. Yeosang was glad he had dodged that bullet.
"I was just on my way to him."
She squinted her eyes at Yeosang before an audible sigh left her mouth and Chaehyeon's whole demeanor changed.
"Good for you then, I'm glad you two are still going strong."
Yeosang is shocked by the sincerity of her words and voices as much, which makes the woman laugh.
"It hurt my pride, Kang, but I'm over that now. What Choi is to you, is my girlfriend to me now." He follows her line of sight and sees a young woman dressed in mint green and a wide smile on her lips, black hair falling in waves over her shoulder. It's as if she felt their gazes as she turns towards them and waves. Chaehyeon laughs, and waves back, the glimmer in her eyes so foreign to him. That's what true love looks like . "She's sweet, I met her a few weeks after we broke up, she's wonderful, works with vampire orphans. A kind soul. Took me a long time to understand why we met but now I understand, and I'm glad that you and I aren't any longer. We were never meant to be, were we?"
"I don't think so," he agrees and feels a bit lighter now. Yeosang had never hated Chaehyeon, not even once since the breakup had been his fault entirely. He had mourned that they missed the point of going back to being friends and he's quite sure they will never be again. They grew up though, matured ever since, and Yeosang is ready to leave this conflict behind. "I'm glad you're happy now."
And she, too, seems taken back by his sincerity.
"Me too."
When Yeosang finally made his way through the crowd, steps quite a bit lighter and overall less stressed, he's not surprised to find San leaning against a wall, eyes trained on Yeosang as he approaches. He looks quite intimidating that way, truly, with a glass of blood in his one hand and an intense gaze shot at everyone - Yeosang knew better. As soon as Yeosang was within arm's length of distance did San grab for his hand, immediately intertwining their fingers. The hard gaze melted into a soft, almost sugary sweet one. That's the real San.
"Hey, angel."
Even after knowing San for such a long time now was it hard to suppress the shy smile at the pet name. This type of love always made him giddy and, to an extent, shy. The undivided attention he gained was more than enough, especially from such a sweet guy like San.
"Hey, sorry for the wait, someone stopped me for a bit."
San pulled him closer and lifted their intertwined hands to press a kiss to their knuckles, the touch nothing more than a slight chill. Warm eyes look at him with so much care, that he asks himself once again what he did to deserve such a genuine person as San.
"I know I saw her approach you," the vampire laughed a little, a sweet smile on his lips. "Actually, she approached me in the office earlier and we talked about it for a bit. I understand her better now." Another kiss on their hands. "Honestly, if I would've been in here place and lost you, I would've made a riot. Just the thought of losing you to someone else like she lost you to me... I don't even want to think about it."
His mouth suddenly feels dry as the place around them begins to blur. The people faded and the slight hum of music became unrecognizable as all of Yeosang's attention laid on the man he's been seeing for a while. Those honest words, they mean a lot to Yeosang. San and him... they aren't explicitly boyfriends or partners as per definition, and neither has the vampire claimed him as a lifelong partner yet - so, what were they? Yeosang didn't know, and San probably neither. For them, it had always been enough to just know , hearing San's so honest and vulnerable confession makes it all worth it. He’s in it for a long time.
It's not the place and neither the time to be speaking about relationship matters. Yet, Yeosang takes a step ahead and hums in satisfaction when San puts the glass away and loops his arms around Yeosang's neck.
"I told you before San-ah, that you and Chaehyeon are nothing alike, not in terms of how I feel. I don't think I'm capable of not loving you."
Fingers glide over his neck up to his cheeks, softly holding them as San surges forward, giving him kiss a devoid of any need or desire, only filled with unfiltered love. Then, a kiss to his cheek, to his jaw, to his neck-
Yeosang laughs a little as he says: "Biting at work is prohibited."
"I'm not biting!" A high whine, then a head in the crook of his neck and hands on his waist. "No one is allowed to see your post-bite state anyway."
"San!"
Needlessly to say, the night was one roller coaster ride and if anyone asked if he had seen who scanned and copied their ass only to distribute those copies that same night, he wouldn't say a thing. That secret was safe with him, even if the culprit couldn't stop winking whenever they made eye contact.
("Yunho-yah, you should've stopped him!"
“Why though? Isn’t this all too amusing to stop it?”
“He could get fired, idiot.”
A laugh, then: “He knows that damn well too but that’s Mingi for yah’.”)
“Why are you here every lunch break?”
“Because I want to spend time with you,” San says as he sits on Yeosang’s lap, feeding him his kimchi- for whatever reason, do not ask him why, he doesn’t know it himself. “Also, I don’t need to eat today, so being with you is the only logical option.”
“San-ah, you do have other frie-”
No, Yeosang did not choke on the kimchi being put into his mouth aggressively, and no, San didn’t knock half of his belongs from the desk as was so surprised. None of that happened, but San did need to clean up the mess he made, even if the vampire said it wasn’t on purpose. Principals.
(Also, maybe Yeosang was too shy to admit that he liked San on his lap and had brushed him off when he tried to sit again.)
Yeosang thinks his eyes must’ve betrayed him. There’s no way, in no possible scenario was this a thing-
“Look, look, Yeosangie!”
San said at the same time Yunho excitedly exclaimed: “We made it work!”
Both men seem overly excited as they show Yeosang the copies of what he assumes is San’s hand, printed out in a neat stack before Yunho pulls out a mirror and holds the paper before it. The hand appears in the mirror.
“Mirrors can’t catch a vampire’s reflection but if we copy a vampire and hold it in front of a mirror it works! It works! We tricked mother nature!”
Yeosang had no heart telling them that this wasn’t how it worked and their little breakthrough meant actually nothing. He did count the ways he could tease San for it though, nodding along while thinking about how long Yeosang could tease San with it until the vampire would eventually notice their mistake.
But then again, one watches an excited dog, and cat play doesn’t interfere until needed. Yeosang did take a picture of the whole ordeal though - minus San but that made it only better.
“Your brain is so sexy, I love it.”
A ghost of lips trailing over his neck as he holds himself up against the wall, the cold ties digging into Yeosang’s palms. He shudders as San nips at the exposed skin with much delight, fangs slowly scratching over Yeosang’s vulnerable neck.
“N-no biting,” he tries to say but gives in anyway when San’s chest pressed into Yeosang’s back, successfully caging him in. Not that he complained, or wanted to as a matter of fact.
“No? But baby, just a sip?”
“Bu-but we’re at work-”
“Some people do way worse things at work, baby, a little blood take won’t change a thing.”
He knows that of course, he does, Yeosang had seen some of his closer coworkers in some… interesting positions before but he had never believed he was one of that kind. Not until San had backed him into a bathroom stall with the intense craving for blood.
“I’ll tell Wooyoung-ah you feel unwell and take you home, hm?”
Yeosang could never seriously say no to anything San would want of him, so he lets San nibble on his skin for a bit more before fangs pierced his skin and Yeosang’s knees became weak. Thankful for the arms which caught him, he felt the all too well-known fluttery feeling spreading through his body as San takes what he desires.
“Thank you, angel.”
What follows after is a blur but Yeosang’s sure that he saw the concern on Wooyoung’s face until it vanished and the two soulmates began to argue. It didn’t matter to Yeosang, as he only cared for the bed he woke up in and the arms which held him securely.
Dating a vampire surely was one interesting thing.
The last task done, Yeosang puts the papers away, humming a melody as he cleans up his working space. Happy that his work had gone well Yeosang was now happy to finally be ready to have his long-awaited vacation. Making sure that everything was organized for his return, he casts one last glance around before making his way out of the building. And surely, he isn’t surprised when he sees a car parking right at the entrance, a head peeking out of the window.
“Need a ride, beautiful?”
Yeosang raises an eyebrow at him, wondering out loud.
“No stalker behavior he says, mhm.”
San sends him a scandalized expression before Yeosang laughs and makes his way around only to be greeted by a locked door. Chuckling in amusement, he bends down a little and knocks on the window, watching how San glare slowly lost its heat and became soft. A click later Yeosang was able to slide into the passenger seat.
“You’re mean.” San pouted. Yeosang felt a comfortable warmth rising in his chest as he leans across the middle and kisses the pout away. The vampire almost immediately melts into the touch, a content sigh leaving him. “If you being mean to me means you’re going to kiss as an apology every time, then please be mean to me more often.”
That has Yeosang cough, not even hiding that he got the intention behind those words.
“Careful with what you wish for.”
Well, maybe Yeosang needed to look out for what he wished for, the mischievous glint in San’s eyes saying everything. Not that he would want it any other way.
“Good that we have some vacation now, baby.”
Yeosang shook his head, already more than ready to see what would await him during the vacation he would spend with San. Only good, that’s for sure.
