If Izzy wanted her captain to be the scariest bitch in the Void, I’d play the role for her, even if I was sick to death of it. “I don’t pay you to question me. I pay you to follow orders.” I clenched my bio-grafted octopus limbs, slowly cutting off her air.

“Oh, forgive my manners… “ I held out my hand for a shake. “I’m Captain Cera Bonnet.”
The charming pirate lady took my hand, and raised it to her lips, saying, “Ah yes, the Polite Pirate. I’ve heard all about you.” She winked, and gently kissed my knuckles.
My eyes went wide. My jaw dropped. Shock coursed through my system. She’s heard of me. Of ME!?
