This is a document meant to fully detail my observations on the character of Herlock Sholmes, as well as my relationship with him during my time in London. This document is strictly for my– the writer, Yuujin Mikotoba’s– eyes only. If you, somehow, are a reader other than myself, or perhaps the great Herlock Sholmes, I humbly request that you do not continue to read any further. If you hold any respect for me I trust that you will honour my wishes and return this document to my hand.
This journal will cover, in full, my time spent with Herlock Sholmes. I intend to split it into sections, each detailing a different aspect of his personality, or of our relationship. I hope that I manage to string together a cohesive timeline for myself to look back on in my later days. Immortalizing those years as honestly as I can is my top priority; every event recorded here will be written as truthfully as possible.
