   Summary

   Desperate for anything to focus on besides the building pleasure that begged for her to cry out, the Listener’s gaze settled on the crimson light reflected off the massive glass and metal depiction of Sithis on the far wall.

   It was catching the faintest hint of the candlelight, winking back in sanguine fractals. The rest of the effigy was lost to the darkness, and in the span of one of the flickers she wondered if the Void was watching through the skeletal portrayal. Was the Dread Father sparing a moment to witness as two of his children both desecrated and sanctified one another? As the Keeper and the Listener- the most devoted and the chosen- made idols out of one another to both their borrowed and inborn divinity?
