I miss you

Summary:

"Don't…" Suho breathed out, "don't pity you." Seojuns heart rate picked up, his stomach twisting into ugly knots. He shook Suho's hand off and quickly left the hospital, not seeing as Suho collapsed to the ground, a few tears slipping past his eyes.

Chapter Text

Seojun bit his lip, hands shaking slightly. It just had to be Suho again. It was always suho. No matter how hard he tried to forget the name of the man he claimed to hate, those two syllables always came back to him.

Su

Ho.

Suho.

Seojun felt tears burn against his eyes, staring at his doctor who had just told him about what Suho had done. Had done for Seojuns mom. Did the other really pity him that much? Did he think he couldn't pay that debt off on his own? Seojun scoffed loudly, his doctor raising an eyebrow. "Seojun? Sorry.. did that… upset you?" Seojun burst into a laugh, "no! Not at all. I'll be leaving now, thank you for your hard work." Seojun gave a curt bow before slamming the door open, stepping out to be face to face with a drowsy Suho. A deep groan slipped past his chipped lips, teeth gnawing on the sore muscle subconsciously.

"Do you pity me that much? Do you think I can't even handle my mothers illness on my own? That I need your dirty money?" Suho's eyes widened a fraction of an inch, his lips parting but words dying against his tongue at the unpleasant emotion clouding Seojuns eyes.

The other felt his eyes roll back, his lip twitching slightly, struggling to bite back his insults. They were still in the hospital. "You… just… don't talk to me. Stay away from my family, yeah? And I'll pay you that money back tomorrow." Seojun pushed past the other, shoulders bumping aggressively. Suho wobbled on his feet, falling against the wall. He weekly reached a hand out, wrapping it tightly around Seojuns wrist. The shorter of the two froze, turning his head just slightly to be able to glare at Suho over his shoulder. "Let go." Suho shook his head weakly, struggling to stand up right. His body was tired and heavy, every movement caused his head to spin and he was once again left unable to speak. A look of worry briefly flashed across Seojuns face but it was immediately replaced by anger.

"Don't…" Suho breathed out, "don't pity you." Seojuns heart rate picked up, his stomach twisting into ugly knots. He shook Suho's hand off and quickly left the hospital, not seeing as Suho collapsed to the ground, a few tears slipping past his eyes.

As soon as Seojun got home he went into the living room where his younger sister and mother were sitting on the couch, sharing a blanket as a movie played on the TV. Seojun sniffed, rubbing his eyes. He bounded up towards them and fell into their laps, laughing lightly as they both groaned, wrapping their arms around him to steady his much lankier frame. "Yah! Get off!" His sister shouted, pushing at his ribs. Seojun whined loudly, nuzzling his head into the crook of his mothers shoulder. "Mama, she's being rude to me." His mother cooed, wrapping her arms tightly around her son's waist, "aigoo… my son is so cute." She cooed into his hair, rubbing his back, "did you have a tough day today?" She calmly asked, still watching the movie over Seojuns shoulder." "Ani! I just… missed you."

Seojun melted further into his mothers embrace, turning his head so he could watch the TV as well, his legs thrown over his sister's lap. She held onto his calves, massaging them subconsciously. He grinned. His family was his everything. "Mama?" He mumbled, nearly unheard. "Mm? What is it, my baby?" "You… you can rely on me, okay? Tell me whenever something happens and your son will fix it! Okay?" His mom pulled back, staring her son in the eyes, "yah… I should be saying that to you two… I'm so sorry you had to grow up so fast my Seojunnie…" tears immediately rimmed his eyes, his lip quivering, "mama…" he wailed, hugging her tightly. His sister laughed at his tears but he saw a single tear roll down her cheek just before she wiped it away. His family was his everything.

"What was that about, huh? seojunie? Did something happen today?" His mother asked into the quiet air of the night as they sat at the kitchen counter, cups of tea in their hands. "No… just… I really love you two, okay? Don't rely on anyone else but me." His mother smiled small, reaching over to pinch his cheeks, "aigoo, my son grew up to be so strong. You must take after me." Seojun grinned, nodding happily, "yeah, I definitely do."

Silence embraced them for a few moments before his mom spoke again, "did the doctor tell you about what suho did?" He froze, tea spilling out of his cup and onto his shirt. The burn brought him back to reality, the stinging sensation grounding him as his mother continued to talk, handing him a wet cloth to dry off, "I can tell you did. You must feel embarrassed but please don't. Suho told me not to tell you so I'm sorry you didn't find out from either of us but… you two have been fighting lately… I'm sure he was embarrassed doing it behind your back. And nobody pities you, okay? Before you even think that. Suho was once family…" his lip wobbled, "mama… can we not talk about him anymore?" "Okay, seojunnie." She smiled small, reaching up to wipe a tear he didn't know fell, "don't be angry with him, alright? Go go to bed, my baby, you have school in the morning."

Seojun inhaled deeply and nodded, standing up and quietly making his way to his room. He laid down in his bed, heart burning in his chest.

When he woke up the next day his eyes were red and his nose hurt. Safe to say the rest of his night was spent in tears. Memories from his past with suho and… memories burned their way into his iris, everytime he blinked he saw small flickers of moments they had spent together. Before everything went to shit. Seojun inhaled deeply, splashing water against his face. He got dressed before walking out of the house, the rooms silent as his mother and sister continued to sleep through the early morning.

He walked by his motorcycle, not even sparing it a glance as he walked towards the bus stop. Sitting firmly against the bench. As he sat in silence a presence appeared beside him. Jugyeong was staring at him intently. He held back a startled scream as she leaned in closer, squinting her eyes, "Yah…. Seojun you look like you were cr-" seojun slaps a hand over the girl's mouth, "do not finish that sentence. I was doing nothing of the sort." Jugyeong stuck her tongue out, pressing it flat against Seojuns hand. He wailed loudly, pulling his back as if he had been burned. He looked at his hand, which he cradled far away from Jugyeong, "that's-!" He turned to look at the culprit who was giggling at his side. His angered expression broke off into a small smile at the sound and sigh. Jugyeong smiled brighter, "finally, a smile." She hummed before puffing her cheeks in frustration, "Yah, what am I going to do with you two?" She sighed wistfully to herself, leaning back against the bench, looking deep in thought. Seojun stared at her, lips slightly curled in a disgusted expression, "yah…. Look at you trying to act all cool…" he grimaced, turning his gaze away from her to instead stare back at his hand.

It wasn't another hour until they both had arrived at school, the entire bus ride had been spent in whispered teases, shouts of protest/denial,

"you totally have a crush on sujin!" "I do not!!!!"

and, of course, laughter. He could always count on his girl friend to help him smile even when he felt like his mind was being churned like butter. Seojun felt a little better as the two got off the bus together, walking side by side towards the school. That was until he saw Suho who was standing at the front gates, eyes closed and body leaning against the wall. Jugyeong gasped, eyes going wide as she raised her hand up to start waving. Seojun quickly raised his own hand up, catching hers in his own. Their fingers laced together as he dragged her away from Suho.

As he dragged Jugyeong down the hall's gasps and oohs sounded from around them all the way until he burst through their classroom doors. The room went dead silent, their classmates staring at them. It took all but two seconds before an arm was thrown around Seojuns shoulder and multiple feminine hands were dragging Jugyeong away to whisper in the front of class.

Seojun heard Suhos footsteps before he saw him. He quickly steeled his expression and glared at the entire classroom, silencing them quickly. "Back to your seats." He called out, smiling in relief as everyone sat down properly just as Suho walked in.

Wait.

Seojun grimaced. How the hell did he know that those steps were suhos? Seojun slowly lowered his head until he smacked it off of the desk, nose throbbing as he let himself be swallowed by self resentment.

Lunch came by faster than seojun expected, his mental war between himself speeding up the boring lessons. Just as he lifted his head he saw Suho disappear out of the classroom, his eyes closed as he walked.

Okay, that was weird. But he didnt care. At all.

Seojun managed to keep his ass in his seat for all of two minutes before he abruptly stood up, chair flying backwards until it slammed against the wall, crashing to the floor. Students jumped in shock but Seojun was already out the door before anyone could say a thing. He was walking after Suhos' very, very , sluggish body. The taller boy walked close to the wall, nearly limping as he made his way down the hallways and towards the bathroom. He pushed the door open and walked in, leaving Seojun to stand outside, alone.

Seojun looked at the door knob, grimacing. Why the hell did he follow suho? He stood there for a few self loathing minutes before deciding against his better judgement, pushing the door open just as Suho finished washing his hands. The other boy was trying to leave so Seojun stuck his hand out, copying the move Suho had pulled on him last night.

"Suho," he started, letting the other wrist fall from his grasp once the boy's attention was on him. Seojun inhaled, not looking at suho as he spoke, "regardless of our situation… what you did for my mom is a different matter," he slowly turned to glance up at the dark haired boy, who stared back with slightly hooded but focused eyes. He quickly glanced away, "I should thank you for what you did… but! From now on,"he turned to look at Suho again, "don't get yourself involved," and, again, he looked away, voice slowly breaking off into a less confident mumble, his nervous eyes looking around the room, "in my business." The silence was deafening. One beat of his heart. And then another. His blood pumped through his body, the noise echoing deep within his skull, shaking him to his very core. The silence was too much. Why wasn't Suho saying anything? Was he angry? Did he perhaps walk out? Seojun quickly turned his head, ready to see an empty bathroom but was cut off as Suho, still very much here, bounded towards him. Footsteps echoing into seojuns mind, completely replacing the sound of his blood. Seojun closed his eyes, expecting a punch or kick or some type of physical assault for his blunt words but was, again, cut off by Suho. The boy stood directly beside him, head dropping forward.

Seojun froze, heart slamming up against his ribcage as he felt a head land on his shoulder, fluffy hair tickling his neck. Suhos breathing was uneven, a little dragged out and harsh. Seojun stomped the worry building up in his throat into a small little ball and quickly tossed it into the "Don't care about that." Bin in his mind. He stepped back quickly and shoved Suho away, the others eyes darting back open as he stumbled, waist hitting against the sink counters. "what?" Seojun croaked, reaching a hand up to hold his shoulder, "what was that!?" He shouted at a still tired looking Suho. "I accidentally dozed off." The fluffy haired boy mumbled, eyes slipping back closed. "What?" Seojun croaked again, "while… standing up? Mid-walk?" Suho nodded slowly. Seojun felt his mind scream at him as he spoke his next words, "are you okay?"

Suho looked at him briefly before his eyes slipped back closed. He shook his head slowly. "Ani." Seojuns heart skipped a beat, that ball of worry breaking out of his rolled up ball, overtaking every nook and cranny of his thoughts and feelings. He reached up to cup Suho's face, holding his head up so that he could stare at him, "why? Did you not sleep well last night? Are you having nightmares again?" Suho's eyes stayed closed as he mumbled a quiet, "you knew about those?" Seojun frowned, "how could I not?" It was Suhos turn to frown. Realistically his sleep deprivation wasn't because of that today but… seojun was talking to him. And caring about him. If he didnt take this opportunity Jugyeong would beat the ever living crap out of him. He let his head lean against Seojuns hands, sleep keeping his eyes shut heavy as he began go speak,

"Yeah… they're back." It wasn't a lie, the nightmares never left and he did have one yesterday. So. He hasn't lied to his friend. Ex Friend? … it hurts to think about.

Seojun inhaled sharply, "do you…" he trailed off, "want to sleep?" Suho nodded immediately, taking a step forward again and again so he could drop his head back down on Seojuns shoulder. The shorter of the two froze, their actions repeating constantly throughout this short interaction. It was making Seojuns head spin, the repetitiveness of it all. It was like a game of push and pull. "yah.." he shook Suhos shoulder, "not here idiot." He mumbled quietly, one hand wrapped around Suhos waist and the other rubbing his back. Suho released a small groan, nuzzling his face against Seojuns neck. "Don't wanna move." He mumbled out in a low voice, and Seojun realized, with great distress, that he felt the words rumble from within Suho against his chest. The words vibrating deep into the nooks and crannies of his mind.

Seojun stilled, cheeks highlighting pink, entire body burning at the feeling of hot breath against his neck, fluffy hair tickling the lobes of his ear. "Seriously, suho, not here. You'll hurt your neck," Suhos lips slowly turned up into a wide smile, "Do you want to go home?" Just as Suho nodded the bathroom door was pushed open and Taehoon walked on in, his face pressed to his phone as he cooed loudly. Seojun froze like a deer caught in headlights while Suho held onto the other tighter. Seojun stared at Taehoon, who walked right past them towards the stalls. "Oh my god." Seojun breathed out, trying to release the other boy. Suho pretended to fall forward, allowing himself to put full trust in Seojuns ability to catch him as he fell.

Seojun gasped, quickly wrapping both arms back snugly around Suhos waist, holding him up. "Aish." He mumbled, holding Suho close as if he was made of glass. "Can you not walk?" Suho shook his head, "sorry…" Seojun bit back a whine and bit his lip. He pushed Suho back so he was standing straight before reaching down to hook an arm at the back of Suhos knees. And he lifted the other off his feet, holding him close to his chest. Seojun relaxed his breathing before walking out of the bathroom. A hallway full of students stared back at them.

Suhos head resting against Seojuns chest, Seojuns face dusted pink and his hand holding Suhos thigh and waist. Dear god. Suho quickly broke out into a sprint, running past his group of friends who all had dropped jaws and wide eyes.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck." Seojun shouted the whole way out the building, running past the gates and down the streets where more people looked at them weirdly.

Suho grinned into Seojuns chest, unable to hold back small laughs. "I just had to listen to that idiot and not ride my bike today." Seojun cursed Jungyeon out in his mind as he huffed and puffed all the way to the bus stop. Just barely managing to jump on the moving vehicle as the doors were beginning to shut.

Because some sort of godly being was on his side, the bus was completely vacant save for the driver. So, Seojun walked up the ramps till he was at the very back, sitting down near the window seat. He slowly helped Suho lay down, his body stretched along the other three seats with his head on Seojun's lap, nose brushing against Seojuns tummy. He had to bite back any words or noises that may tumble out of his mouth at the awkward feeling. with his breath held, Seojun turned to stone. Not sparing Suho a single glance as the bus began its route.

"I haven't been to your house in a while." Suho suddenly mumbled, causing Seojuns head to snap down to look at him with wide eyes. Suhos hooded eyes stared back up, a small smile curling his lips upwards. "yah! Who said we were going to my house?" Suhos smile fell, "we're not?" Seojun looked at him bewildered, "no?" The taller of the two deflated, "oh."

Seojun quickly looked away, trying to erase the visual of a sad and dejected Suho out of his mind. Why the hell did Suho want to come to his house? Seojun whined out loud, throwing his head back, smacking it roughly against the back of the bus. Suho quickly sat up, head swimming. "Are you okay?" He asked, reaching a hand up to touch the back of Seojuns head. Seojun watched with a slightly amused expression as Suho swayed, starting to fall forward. With a sigh, seojun wrapped an arm around Suhos shoulders and pulled him close, letting the other rest his head back on his shoulder. With a lot of hesitation, Seojun slowly lowered his own head down so it was resting on top of suhos, "worry about yourself first, idiot."

The rest of the bus ride was silent, save for a few sniffles and sneezes from Suho, much to Seojuns displeasure. As they arrived, Seojun helped pull Suho up, arm slipping from his shoulders down to the boy's waist to haul him along. Suho glanced at the bus driver over his shoulder, "thank you!" He shouted just before he was being yanked off the bus. "Why are you so heavy?" Seojun huffed, out of breath. "Seems you've lost muscle since middle school." Suho mumbled, using all of his strength to walk as properly as possible, not wanting to bother Seojun too much. The boy stopped walking, "yah, don't overwork yourself. Get on," Seojun bent down in front of Suho, patting his own back.

Suhos body made a decision for him, body stumbling forward until his back was flush against Seojuns, skin burning. Seojun huffed and stood up, holding onto Suhos legs as he walked them up a small hill and down some streets. "We're going to your house?" Suho whispered, glancing at the once familiar streets. "What? Now you don't want to?" Suho quickly shook his head, tightening his hold around Seojun, "I didn't say that! I just…" suho trailed off, "its nothing." Seojun scowled at the lack of response but kept walking until he was in front of his home, pushing the front door open. His sister was, obviously, at school and with a quick shout of, "mama?" It was made clear that she was out as well.

Seojun walked towards his bedroom, Suho opening the door for him. He walked towards his bed and sat down, slowly lowering Suho against the mattress. "Okay… sleep." Seojun stood back up, starting to walk away.

Suho surged forward, quickly wrapping his arms around Seojuns waist, "stay." Seojun squeezed his eyes shut. Why was this happening? What deity did he piss off to deserve this. "No," he breathed out, wiggling out of Suhos hold. "Just… sleep. I'll bring you some water."

Seojun shut the door behind himself, body collapsing against the frame of it. "How the fuck does this type of shit happen to me?" He whined, pulling out his phone as it vibrated in his pocket. A familiar name lit up his screen. He groaned and accepted the call,

"Seojun! Where did you run off to with suho?" Jugyeong asked with a suggestive tone biting at her words. "Don't make it sound weird," Seojun begged, walking out into the kitchen, "he wasn't feeling good." "Oh?" She sang, "what happened to this ferocious tiger not caring about Suhos feelings?" "If you say anything else I'm hanging up," Seojun threatened, reaching for a glass from the cupboard. "Do you want me to come over and help take care of him?" "Ani!" Seojun stilled, covering his mouth, "ah-" Jugyeong barked with laughter, he could practically see her with her head bent forward, body shaking from the loud laughs bubbling out of her throat. He smiled small, "yah, I'm hanging up now, okay? Get home safe, Jugyeong." "Yessir! See you two tomorrow." She purred out before hanging up, leaving Seojun as a puddle of embarrassment and confusion.

Seojun glared down at the bowl of soup he had just made, its delicious broth almost mocking him. Why did he make this? Surely, Seojun glared at his bedroom door, surely not for him . Seojun shook his head, no! No way. He just… made it for his mom when she gets home. Seojun nodded and quickly transferred the soup into a container that he could store in the fridge.

Seojun turned away from the fridge and walked around the kitchen counter, intending to go sit in the living room when he heard a muffled sob. His blood ran cold. What the hell was that? Another sniffle. Seojun slowly reached his hands up to touch his own face. He wasn't crying, so who was?

His stomach twisted uncomfortably as he glanced over at his bedroom door. No way, right? He took a few slow steps forward and pressed his ear against it, straining to hear anything from inside. His heart sank when he heard another muffled sob. Suho was crying? Seojun quickly pushed the door open, stepping in and shutting it closed behind him. He walked towards the bed and hesitantly sat down on the edge, glancing at Suho, who's eyes were shut tight, almost in a grimace. "Suho?" He called quietly, startled by another small cry from the boy. Seojun frowned and scooted closer, gently shaking his shoulders, "suho… you're having a nightmare." He whispered, continuing to gently shake him. Suho's eyes slowly opened, fear the only emotion evident in his wild gaze. "Hey," Seojun whispered again, sliding into the bed beside Suho, "you're okay, yeah? You're with me, you're okay.' Suho turned his gaze to Seojun, tears immediately pushing past the rims of his eyes, falling in heavy drops. Seojuns heart burned and he quickly scooted even closer, pulling Suho into a tight hug, "you're okay, Suho. It's okay. Just breathe." He gently rubbed his hand along the expanse of Suhos broad back, feeling the other boy's muscles flex as he choked back on heavy sobs, breath struggling to break past his heavy tears. Seojuns own eyes felt wet as he held onto Suho tighter, "breathe for me, okay? Breathe in," he inhaled deeply, feeling as Suho copied, "and out," Suhos choked sobs slowly died down until he was lying unmoving against Seojun.

"Were you having a panic attack?" Seojun quietly whispered into the still air surrounding them. He could feel Suho gulp. "Ani," he started but cut himself off, "yeah…" seojun sighed, a tear rolling off his cheek onto the top of Suhos head. "Have you been having those often?" The taller of the two nodded once, his eyes squeezed shut. Seojun couldn't help but cry a little harder. His shoulders shook and his throat burned but he swallowed any sound that tried to escape past his lips. "Are you crying?" Suho asked quietly, reaching a hand around the slender waist of the other to rub against his back. Seojun shook his head, "no." Suho nodded, "okay."

Suho wasn't sure how long he let Seojun silently cry, pretending as if he wasn't noticing even when the boy started shaking like a leaf. At one point he ended up wrapping Seojun in a tight embrace, tucking his head under seojuns chin, listening to the sound of his struggling breathing. "Are you sure you're not crying?" He finally asked after the silence became too suffocating. Seojun sniffled, "I already said no." Suho bit his lip, "I miss,"  Seojuns eyes squeezed shut as if the very words pained him to hear. Disgusting insults built up in his throat but he held them back, literally biting his tongue until the taste of metallic flooded his mouth. Suho shifted slightly, tangling their legs, "I miss you." He finished his sentence with a shaky breath.

Seojun stilled. Missed him? "I missed you a lot, Seojun." Suho confessed, voice tender with raw emotions. "I know you hate me and blame me, I blame myself too but… for just today can we… stay together? Like old times."

'I don't hate you, I hate myself… I blame myself.' Seojuns confession stayed locked behind his lips, his heart not ready to reveal those emotions. It was easier to blame anyone else but himself for the death of his best friend. So, he inhaled through his nose, chest rising so high it lifted Suhos head and bumped against his chin, "yeah… for today." Suho grinned and shut his eyes, ready to fall back asleep.

Seojun woke up to the sound of two voices whispering, near silent giggles making their way into his ears. He slowly opened his eyes, squinting at the bright light of the rising sun. His mother and sister stared back at him with wide grins. He raised his hand, rubbing his eyes. "Hm? What are you two doing?" He asked in a rough tone, vocal chords tired after a night of crying, again. "Did the two of you finally makeup-" his mother was caught off by his sister wiggling her eyebrows, "are you two dating?" Seojun had half a mind to throw a pillow at Gowoons head but felt himself freeze when he suddenly registered the extra weight against his body. He slowly tilted his head down until he saw a mop of black hair in front of him. He inhaled once, then twice, and then he screamed loudly, shoving Suho off as fast as he could, making himself fall off the bed in the process. His mom couldn't hold back her laugh. "We'll leave you two alone." She cooed, pulling her daughter out by the hand

Seojun scowled up at the body on his bed, which somehow was still peacefully sleeping. He slowly pulled himself back up to his feet leaning over to stare down at suho, "are you… dead?" He asked quietly, reaching his finger forward but stopped midway when a pair of doe eyes slowly opened, staring directly into Seojuns own eyes. Seojuns jaw slowly slipped open, body feeling suddenly hot at the attention. Suhos eyes swept across his face before landing on Seojuns lips. Seojuns tongue swept out across them, suddenly feeling dry. Suho smiled and began to sit up, causing Seojun to quickly pull back, eyes wide. He quickly stood up straight, reaching into his closet as Suho watched with gentle eyes.

Seojun shoved his head into the closet, shielding his face and blush from the eyes he could feel burning holes into the back of him. He blindly felt around before yanking out two sweaters and pants. He threw a pair of them at Suho before disappearing out the bedroom door, running into the bathroom.

A pink face he could barely recognize stared back at him from the mirror. His ears burned bright and his eyes were puffy. Frankly, he looked like shit. Seojun whined into his hands before turning on the faucet, letting the water soak into his skin before he formed a cup like shape, raising the water up to splash against his face, waking himself up. He quickly undressed and pulled on the outfit he has pulled out, feeling the sweater sleeves fall past his hands, meeting the tips of his fingers. He sighed deeply, reaching up to rub his face once more before slowly opening the bathroom door.

"You know," his sister's voice startled him so bad he fell into the wall in front of him, a groan slipping past chipped lips, "I thought dancing around in those tiger panties was embarrassing but this is a whole new level. Even for you." Seojun went to speak but was cut off by a deep voice behind him, sending vibrations up his spine, "tiger panties?" Seojuns skin went pale as snow, eyes turning to daggers as he glared at his younger sister, threat clear in his expression. She just grinned, turning around to walk to the living room.

Suho blinked in curiosity, turning to look at Seojun, "tiger panties?? Is that why Jugyeong always goes, "arngh!"" Seojuns heart beat rapidly in his chest as Suho mimicked Jugyeongs tease, "at you? Hm… cute." Seojun sputtered over his words, watching as Subo walked away and towards the kitchen.

"Yah! Seojunnie were you the one who made soup?" Seojun slapped his cheeks a few times before walking to the kitchen and towards his mother, wrapping an arm around her shoulder as she looked down at the container. "Mhm!" He grinned proudly, "made it for you." His mom cooed loudly, reaching over to pinch her sons cheeks. The sound of a spoon falling caught everyone's attention, the family turning to stare at a wide mouthed Suho. His ears were red and his hand was reaching for the spoon, frozen in place. "Is our suho okay?" It was seojuns turn to freeze. Our suho? He felt his blood run cold at the implication behind those words. "Aigoo," his mother cooed, pushing past her son to walk over to Suho, fussing over his hair. She patted the locks down until they were brushed out straight and proper, her hands moving to cradle his face. "Look how you've grown, son," Seojuns breath hitched in his throat, "even more handsome than my baby. Though you look tired, have you not been sleeping well, suho?" Suho shook his head with a small smile, "ani, I've been sleeping well, eomma."

Seojuns body felt heavy at the words the two were sharing. What the hell was this? Did he go back in time? Or is he in an alternate reality where seyeon was okay? Seojun quickly shook those thoughts away, not wanting to upset himself so early in the morning. "Mama," he called with a pout on his lips, "why are you being nicer to him than me?" Gowoon gagged at the tone of her brother, moving to sit at the table beside Suho. She glanced at him and smiled, "are you back, oppa?" Suho opened his mouth but no words made it out as he glanced over to Seojun. "Only if your brother lets me." He finally decided to say, quickly averting his gaze down to the breakfast set in front of him. "Oppa," Gowoon turned to her brother, glaring daggers at him. "Why are you all looking at me?! Suho can do whatever he wants." He mumbled, walking to the table.

Suho looked up with wide eyes at Seojun, "do you mean that?" Seojuns heart skipped a beat, his  hands feeling clammy. "I don't control you." He mumbled quietly, picking up some food and quickly shoving it in his mouth to avoid any more questions. Suho grinned brightly and began eating as well, occasionally picking up parts of the breakfast he knew Seojun enjoyed the most and pushing it onto whatever utensil Seojun was holding at the time. Everytime Suho did this he felt a squeeze on his knee, "our Suho is so cute. Aigoo, how did we last so long without you? Seojunnie was so selfish keeping you all to himself." Suho giggled as Seojun groaned loudly. "Mama," he started but found himself ignored as his mother continued to coo over Suho. He watched the two with the smallest smile, barely a twitch upwards on his llips.

Yeah, he missed this.
