“We’ll see each other again, right?” Taehyung asked quietly, voice wavering. His eyes, blurred by tears, stared at Jungkook. The younger boy rubbed his hands over his school pants, eyebrows pulled together.
“I don’t know,” Jungkook whispered, pressing his lips together. “I hope so.”
Taehyung hoped they would as well. He knew transfers to the States were normally long term but he wasn’t sure how long his young heart could go without Jungkook.
It wasn’t until the last day that Taehyung saw Jungkook that he knew.
He knew that he’d fallen in love for the first time and the boy he’d fallen for would be leaving him.
Taehyung hoped they would meet again.
