   Daemons. Everyone has one, a shapeshifting animal companion that settles into one creature that will keep you company from birth until death.

   Burned alive and yet still breathing, Peter Hale no longer has a daemon.
   At the dubious age of 17, Stiles Stilinski has sailed past the time period of late bloomer for his daemon to settle and is firmly in the "medical condition" camp.

   Somehow these facts manage to still fuck them over more than anything, even in the face of their battle to survive the werewolf vs. hunter bloodbath the whole town seems to have found itself in.
