“‘Beomgyu apartment tour when?’ Pfft, you guys are really curious about the new place, aren’t you?” Beomgyu leaned back in his chair and grinned into the camera. “Well, we’re not quite done unpacking everything yet, but as soon as we are, I promise you’ll get the tour of your lives!”
The comments came flooding, many of them pointing out the fact that Beomgyu had said “we,” and asking who he meant by that or simply congratulating him on the new place.
Beomgyu chuckled. He was happy he and Soobin had taken this step in their relationship. They had been dating for about a year and a half, but his subscribers didn’t know that. While most of Beomgyu’s life was practically broadcast through YouTube, Soobin had opted to stay more private. Beomgyu was fine with that, although he did sometimes wish he could just shout his love for Soobin from the rooftops and show him off to the world.
“You’re all dying to know who I’m talking about, aren’t you?” Beomgyu said with a smirk.
Before he could tease his viewers about that having to remain a secret, the door to his room opened and Soobin poked his head in. Beomgyu was about to inform Soobin that he was filming, but his boyfriend had already spotted the camera. Instead of ducking out of the room like Beomgyu had expected, he came in, closed the door behind himself and ventured over.
“Hey, I–”
Soobin cupped Beomgyu’s cheeks and tilted his head up before pressing a kiss to his lips. Beomgyu didn’t have to look at his chat to see that the comments were going crazy.
“Babe, I’m live,” Beomgyu whined. Soobin only looked at the camera with a bright smile and waved.
Beomgyu, now properly flustered at the sudden display of affection, turned back to his viewers. As expected, comments were flooding the chatroom.
“BOYFRIEND REVEAL LET’S GO!!”
“Oh, shit he’s cute!”
“Get it, BG!!!”
“Nooo, look at how he’s looking at him!”
Beomgyu chuckled, his cheeks feeling hot. “Um... everyone, there you have it. This is Soobin, my boyfriend.”
“Hi,” Soobin greeted the camera and wrapped his arms around Beomgyu’s neck, resting his chin on top of his head. Hearts and coos continued to come in through the chat, and Beomgyu was sure he was about as red as his hair by now.
“He seems clingy right now,” he mumbled.
Soobin nuzzled him. “Just missed you.”
Beomgyu patted his hands and refrained from telling him that he had been here the whole time and they had seen each other an hour ago. If Soobin suddenly felt comfortable enough to be on camera with him and openly show his love, who was Beomgyu to take that from him?
Soobin didn’t let go of him for the rest of Beomgyu’s livestream, openly cuddling him and burying his nose in the crown of Beomgyu’s hair. When the live ended, he kissed Beomgyu again like he hadn’t seen him in a decade.
“What’s up with you today?” Beomgyu asked fondly, his face still cupped between Soobin’s large hands.
Soobin kissed his forehead and looked at him with utmost adoration. “I was unpacking, and it just hit me that we’re actually doing this. We’re actually living together. And I just love you, and I’m happy we’re doing this together.”
Beomgyu smiled up at him. “And you’re genuinely okay with them knowing about you now?”
“Yeah, I mean it's too late now anyway. Maybe this way you’ll stop getting all those love letters in your P.O. box,” Soobin joked.
Beomgyu laughed and pecked Soobin’s nose. “You might start getting some, though. They adored you. Just like I do. I love you...”
“I love you too,” Soobin replied. He pulled Beomgyu to his feet. “Let’s make dinner?”
Beomgyu let himself be led out of his recording room and to their little kitchen. Soobin had started decorating around the place a little while Beomgyu had been live. Their apartment was beginning to look like a home.
Soobin tied an apron around his waist and started getting out ingredients. Beomgyu had originally planned to help but seeing Soobin roam around in their kitchen made him feel exceptionally mushy. He leaned in the doorway with a smile playing on his face as he let this reality sink in.
This was their home. This was the beginning of their life together.
