“Yes, but that’s because I think she’s cool and her energy alone can be overwhelming,” Yuma points out, “not because I find her pretty—I mean she is, but I don’t find her pretty in the way you find her pretty.”
“And in what way would that be?”

Summary
Maki physically can't stop talking about the boy who sits next to him in his photography class, Harua. From the way he holds a pencil to the way he laughs, every tiny detail that falls from Maki's lips, passionate like a confession he didn't even realize he was making. Nicholas listens, because he's Maki's best friend, because he cares, because it's harmless...until it's not. “Do you see that, Taki?” Harua whispered conspiratorially.
Taki followed his gaze, nonplussed, to where Yudai and Fuma were talking. His mama seemed to be having a good time, laughing at some joke the other man had made.
“My papa… and your mama…” Harua said meaningfully, eyes wide, but Taki still didn’t understand what he was trying to say.
“Yeah,” Taki said, clueless. “They seem to be friends.”
Harua sighed, annoyed, before shaking his head. “But what if they can be more than friends?” he asked in a whisper so low Taki barely heard him. “They could get married! And we…” Harua grinned. “We would become brothers.”
Taki’s eyes lit up. He’d never had a brother before, and being brothers with Harua would be so cool. “We’d be like twins,” he said gleefully. “Y’know, ‘cause our birthdays are so close?”
Harua nodded, his smile full of mischief. “But for that…” he said, turning towards their parents again. “We need to make them fall in love.”

Summary
Fuma has one job: Pick up his son from daycare. Easy, right?
Wrong. He manages to land himself a seat on the ‘kidnapper bench’ after his name doesn’t appear on the pick-up list. It’s a simple mistake, but the daycare’s owner, ‘Kei,’ doesn’t seem to think so.
Neither of them knows that this moment– one misfiled paper– will tangle them together and help them realize how lucky they are to love and be loved.
