Sam's a creeper( think of like a centar) , a very rare species and he has currently been on the voidling poachers ship for about 20 cycles( 40 days).
Sam was minding his own business when all of the sudden a dart is shot into his neck. When he woke up there's a metal collar on his neck and he's in a bright white room with no door and a bed indented into the wall (which was more like a concrete slap attached to the wall).
During his time here he's had multiple cell mates (he learned that the door disappears when shut) from a siren to a blaze born, even a mooshroom one time. However right now he was alone
And in the middle of getting a new cell mate.
Sam's head snapped up from where he was laying on the floor (he can't fit on the bed) when he saw the door appear and open. In walks 3 voidlings two holding weapons and one in front hold some kinda small cage. The front voidling opens the cage and throws what ever was in there on the floor. The three voidlings left quickly after that but not before leaving some food behind in the cell.
Sam looks at his new cell mate, the first thing he noticed was how small the creature was it couldn't be more the two feet tall. it had had pale pinkish skin with large blue eyes and some golden fur on top of their head. It wore a red and white shirt that covered half it's body with small shorts.
Suddenly the small creature starts crying water leaking down it's face. Sam rushes over to the small pup(sam has decided that this is a child or pup) and trys to calm them down.
By the time the golden pup stops crying sam is sitting (loaf style) on the floor against the wall with a now sleeping pup in his pale green arms.
Sam has decided that not only is this a pup but this is now his pup and he isn't gonna let anyone touch them. He isn't going to lose them too.

"Tommy what are you doing"
"Hang'un on your paws"
"Tommy let go of my paws"
"But there so sofffftttt"
Sam sighed. It has been about 367 cycles since tommy was thrown in his cell (he decided to name the pup tommy). Since then tommy has grown and now he's about 3-4 feet tall and his fur has also grown now reaching past his shoulders. He still wears the red and white shirt(now fitting better) but with drity white pants given by the voidlings.
The voidlings have attempted to take him away before, but they stopped after the 6th dead voidling.
It was a normal day in the cell. They had just gotten their food and now sam was trying to feed tommy (which was hard considering the kid wouldn't let go of his paws saying something like them being similar to a cat or dog what ever those are).
"Come on tommy im trying to feed you" sam all but basically begged.
"Not hungry, No" tommy said shaking his head while still clinging to sams paws.
"We both know that's a lie you've barely eaten anything this cycle" sam tried to reson.
"But it's yucky" tommy replied (which was fair, the food was really only grey goup and quite discussing) and stuck his tongue out at sam.
Sam was about to reply when suddenly loud sirens started going off along with red blaring lights. Tommy let go of Sam's paw to cover his ears. Sam picks tommy up and curls in on him self trying to protect tommy (From what, he doesn't know).

Eventually the sirens shut off and sam feels the ship land. He doesn't know whats happening but after some time he can hear people going through the halls outside of the invisible door. The foot steps are to heavy to be one of the voidlings, so either some of the prisoners got out or others have gotten on the ship.
Sam takes tommy and puts him under the concrete bed. he takes the thin black covers from the bed and wrap them around tommy. hoping that whatever was outside wouldn't be able to see tommy.
"Wha-"
"Shhh, tommy i want you to stay right there and don't make a sound ok" sam asked in a soft voice. Tommy only nodded his head and curled the cover over him more.
Sam then stood up and guarded tommy. He wouldn't let whatever was outside this cell hurt or take tommy away from him,
not now not ever.
