Chapter Text
Billy had come home from school earlier than he would normally, he had skipped and spent most of the day with Stu doing a bunch of random shit the other had suggested. Billy knew that his father wasn’t home, so they made their way to his house. Upon entering a loud moan ripped through the house. Billy and Stu paused, Billy knew that his mother wasn’t home, as her car would have been in the driveway, as his dad’s car was the only one allowed in the garage. Billy sat unsure of what to do knowing in an instant that his father was cheating on his mother, anger welled up inside of him he needed to know who the mistress is. Stu brought him out of his mind with a simple hand on his shoulder. Stu led him out of the house, and in a daze, Billy followed the rage slowly building up. After a while of walking in complete silence they got to Stu’s house, Billy stomped ahead of Stu already knowing where the others' room was. Stu knew to let the other cool down a bit and get control of his brain. Stu grabbed some snacks and two sodas. After a few more min he made his way up to the room. Finding Billy sitting on his bed, a place Stu had wanted him under other circumstances, but he knew to keep that under wraps.
Billy sat on the bed noticing the other staring at him, he let his mood show in his town “what?” he asks in a harsh tone.
Stu shakes his head, he hadn’t realized he’d been staring at the other, “just trying to figure out what you are thinking.” He said, it wasn’t really a lie, but it wasn’t the full truth. Stu knew that not everyone would be accepting of his attraction toward men, even if he was still attracted to females.
Billy glared at the other, deciding not to speak he got off the bed wandering over to the movies, knowing Stu would get the hint to leave it alone. Stu watched the other, obviously the other wanted to drop the topic, that was on the tip of his tongue. Stu shrugged his shoulders making his way onto the bed, to watch the movie that Billy was putting on.
~~~~~~~~
During the second movie, Billy felt calmer, so he made his way back to his house, Stu had fallen asleep during it. As he made his way up to the front porch, he heard screaming from within the house, he could clearly make out the voice of his mother and the booming voice of his father. “I can’t believe that you would cheat on me with that WHORE MAUREEN PRESCOTT” She screamed. Billy moved away from the door as the screaming intensified, after a few more moments of illegible shouts, his mother walked out of the house slamming the door behind her his father following her out, he glared at Billy shouting at him to get in the house, when Billy didn’t move, he grabbed his arm and pushed him toward the house shouting at him to get inside. Finally, Billy went inside, not sure how to handle the situation he went inside as his father went after his mother. Billy knew that this wasn’t the first time his father and mother got into an argument, but it was the first time she had left the house during one. He was sure that she would be back, Billy knew that she would never abandon him, she was the only one who seemed to understand his violent tendencies. She had been the one to help him learn to channel it differently. Billy got himself ready for bed sure that even if his mother was angry at his father she would come back, even if it was just to get him. He doubted that she would leave his father, as no matter how many times this had happened before she always forgave him, although this had made Billy resent his father, he knew there wasn’t much he could do to dissuade her. Billy went to bed knowing that she would be back come morning.
It had been a week since his mother left, he hadn’t heard anything from her since she left, Billy’s father was acting off, always looking over his shoulder as if he was paranoid about something. He didn’t think much of it but was more worried about his mother, one of the only good things about his life. Billy went about his daily life week by week waiting for his mother to come back until finally, he received a letter in the mail, there was no return address, but from what it had said Billy knew that it was from his mother, knowing her handwriting from a mile away. She was never coming back. She abandoned him… And it was all that Whores fault, Maureen Prescott. She took his mother from him; she was that final straw. His mother wouldn’t want to be around someone who looked so much like the man who betrayed her. Maureen Prescott deserved to die. After this revelation, he knew he would need help, but who. Who would be psychotic enough to do the things he needed to do? The answer came to him, as soon as he had thought about it, Stu Maucher. The only other person who matched his psychotic nature, he wasn’t as good as Billy was in hiding it. The first time they had watched a scary movie together which happened to be Psycho, Stu had laughed when the character had been murdered. It had also been the moment that Billy knew that Stu was going to be his best friend, after all, he matched so well with Billy’s Psychosis.
Later that day, Billy made his way over to Stu’s house, for most of the morning he had been practicing what to say to the other. Billy knew that it wouldn’t take much convincing to get him to go along with the plan, but he did have to get around the however little empathy the other hand for those who needed to pay. Billy was practically always welcome at the Maucher home, as they thought of him as one of the family. Billy was in luck only Stu was home. “Hey, BILLY, what are you doing here?” Stu asks
Billy had told Stu a bit of what happened but knew he needed to play the other into his hand. Billy shows the letter that he had received from his mother “She’s not coming back, that bitch Prescott caused this” Billy said in an angry tone the anger from earlier
“Oh.” Stu was stunned, he knew that she had slept with Billy’s father. He had met Billy’s mother before, and she hadn’t seemed to be the type to just leave Billy behind. He had seen that she didn’t really care for the father just through their interaction, but she adored Billy. There was nothing that she wouldn’t do for the kid.
After that simple ‘Oh’ Billy began to rant, finally letting his feelings about the situation “I can’t believe that she would sleep with my father when she knew that he was married... She’s a fucking whore who deserves whatever’s coming to her, she just thinks she can go around town sleeping with whoever she fucking wants I can’t believe her. I WANT HER FUCKING DEAD!” he shouted at the of his lungs, the anger clear in his voice, his breath heavy with pure anger.
Stu was stunned he had scarcely heard the other so passionate about something, one would often think that the other didn’t have strong emotions, but he was just so much better at regulating them. Stu stood there the conflict clear in his eyes. Could he kill someone? Could he leave behind his humanity? The answer was simple, for Billy he would watch the world burn.
Billy watched as Stu’s emotions filtered across his face, it was something truly fascinating to him. Billy hadn’t met someone who you could so clearly see what they were feeling, it was a wonder that others couldn’t see it so clearly. It was almost as if Billy was Stu’s vulnerability. Finally, Billy saw what he was hoping to find from the other, the resulting hardening of his expression, then a large smile growing on his face. It was a slightly crazed look “let’s kill the bitch then” Billy smirked at the other knowing that in the end, it would be him and Stu against the world.
