   Summary

   Marine Officer Isuka's first assigned mission back since being reprimanded by higher-ups for digging into corruption should have been easy. After a tiger linked to a string of deaths is spotted in the forest by a sleepy village in Dawn Island, Isuka is assigned to placate villagers and look into the situation.

   She didn't expect to be betrayed.

   Nor did she expect the tiger with sad dark eyes to be one of those reported dead, a young man long cursed to look after the forest.
