Chapter Text
Snowscream watched as his carrier set up things to paint his claws at the kitchen table. It was something he did on occasion, and the little sparkling always thought how pretty his carrier's claws looked afterward. Looking at his own servos, Snowscream noticed that they looked much more like his sire’s. Round instead of sharp.
“Would you like to have painted servos too?” Starscream cooed at his sparkling as he placed the last bottle of paint on the table.
“Yes!” Snowscream squealed, standing up and running over to his carrier. Starscream placed the sparkling into the nearby high chair.
“You have to be still so the paint can dry and not smudge all over,” Starscream said, “and what color do you want?”
“Blu sparkle!” Snowscream squealed, “peas!”
“Of course,” Starscream said, “anything for my sweet sparkling.”
“Alright they’re all dry now,” Starscream said as he lifted Snowscream out of the high chair.
“Pretty!” Snowscream cooed, lifting his freshly painted servo’s to show his carrier. The dark blue and sparkly paint stood out on the sparkling’s white paint scheme.
“They’re very pretty,” Starscream cooed, “how does carrier’s look?” Snowscream giggled as his carrier lifted his servo to show off the dark blue sparkly paint on his free servo.
“Pitty!” Snowscream said before looking over to his sire, who was sleeping on the couch. His soft snore’s could be heard throughout the house, “Sire?”
“Should we paint sire’s servos?” Starscream asked his sparkling.
“Yes!” Snowscream squealed.
“Same color?” Starscream asked as he set Snowscream down.
“Yes!” Snowscream giggled. Starscream smiled and grabbed some towels and the sparkly blue paint.
Skyfire slowly opened his optics, waking from a nice nap. A quiet afternoon was a rare occasion, with Wheeljack causing explosions in the lab to pre-scheduled playdates; something always going on. When the rare free day came along, Skyfire liked to use it to catch up on things. Like housework, or more often, extra recharge.
“Sire! Look!” Snowscream squealed, waving his little servo infront of his sire’s face. Skyfire squinted, and noticed that it was a different color, and a sparkly blue.
“Did you-” Skyfire started to say.
“Don’t worry I painted his servos,” Starscream said, “you should look at yours.” The shuttle looked down to his own servos, painted the same sparkly blue that his sparklings was.
“When did you have the time to paint my servos?” Skyfire asked.
“While you were napping,” Starscream said sweetly, “it was Snowscream’s idea, but I do like the idea of us matching.” The seeker held up his own servos, painted the same sparkly blue. Skyfire smiled, a content warmth filling his spark.
“We should do this more often,” Skyfire said.
“We should,” Starscream murmured, “it was fun.”
Snowscream giggled, as he held his servo up so both of his carriers could see, “again!”
