Summary
Raccoon City is falling into irreparable despair. More than half the population has been unaccounted for - either missing, deceased or...almost. With those brave enough to fight their way out of the infected streets, the looming threat of executive order to destroy the 33,000 square miles of once pristine beauty washes over the rain and blood swept streets.. Those who remain from Umbrella scramble to cover their tracks after the release of 'G', survivors fight with everything they have to keep bite marks off their skin and keep haste in their step. In the few days before the city enters the point of no return, a young woman is rushed to the Spencer Memorial following a fatal gunshot wound. Days later, she awakens from a heavy comatose with mysterious bruises covering her arms, a disheveled appearance and is isolated in an abandoned trauma ward. Maya outruns strange soldiers in masks, squeezes by undead hands and through fallen structures to find herself standing in the pouring rain, faced with a city erupted in flames and destruction. Maya comes to realize the importance of watching her back - it becomes clear why there are soldiers searching high and low for her.
