Summary
The Day of Unity was stopped by the quick thinking of the Covens Against the Throne. The Collector was never freed. However, the Portal Door was destroyed in the fight with Emperor Belos.
Luz, now once again faced with being stranded on the Boiling Isles for the foreseeable future, must also now contend with a rapidly deteriorating and changing situation. The Empire which Belos created, which lasted fifty years, crumbled with the aftermath of the Day of Unity. The Covens against the Throne struggle to rebuild a new society from the ashes of a tyrannical empire while Luz is faced with challenges new and old.
But as the Boiling Isles enters a New Savage Ages, Luz must stand with her family and friends to repair the damage which Philip Whittebane has done, even while others seem intent on repeating his mistakes.
