Summary
The Pit of Lethe burns away everything and leaves behind a blank, suggestive, malleable surface to mold to the liking of anyone who witnesses the rebirth. Ra's had planned on using it to revive his grandson, however that plan was foiled. When he finds his erstwhile son-in-law has been so neglectful as to let his son and heir sacrifice himself needlessly Ra's finds a better use for his loyalty.
