Summary
Modern day Xie Lian finds himself wandering into the less than decent Paradise Café with a "free drink of choice" coupon in his hand and Shi Qingxuan at his side. The coffee is decent, the new space slowly filling out with decadent furniture, and he finds it to be a fantastic spot to write (and get away from his two bickering roommates).
But something about the silver butterfly chime above the door seems familiar. The baristas also look ghostly pale and don't seem to take well to their customers. Then there's the mysterious new barista (NOT a crush) that Feng Xin and Mu Qing seem to know far more about than Xie Lian. But now, at the seventh time he's tried to write the same scene in his story of a little boy falling during a ceremonial parade, a few things start to click. Something about this scene is far too realistic for his imagination... right?
