- Let’s get this one thing clear, Russia hates the fact that in his home, the LGBT community is treated with hostility and violence. As a Nation who has lived for many centuries, he’s kind of above those petty human squabbles when, really, they should be prioritizing other things. Like survival. And guaranteeing happiness for every human life. Regardless, he will definitely treat you with the respect that you deserve.
- Getting hormones in his home country is relatively easy and you don’t need a prescription. If you happen to live in his home country, Russia would definitely be on board with helping you get the hormones. He might not be fully informed on what treatments you need, but he is willing to help you get them.
- If you decide to get top surgery, Russia will make sure that you are comfortable before and after the procedure. He’s worried for you because surgery is surgery and surgery is scary. (And as one of the scariest Nations on the planet, he knows what scary is). He’ll be there to provide you loose fitting clothing, provide transportation, and be there with you the entire time you’re recovering. He’s done the research: he’ll make sure that you’re resting on your back to prevent pressure on your chest, never EVER allow you to lift or raise your arms above your head, and provide assistance in your hygiene by giving you sponge baths. Even when you’re fully healed, Russia still likes to spoil you from time to time, but eventually he’ll let you do physical exercise that you loved doing before.
- If you’re ever self-conscious about your scars on your chest, fear not. Russia is absolutely riddled with scars. He’ll tell you this every time he thinks you’re feeling negative about your body and it’s this: “You’re one of the bravest men I know; that scar on your chest means that you fought a battle and you won.”
- Don’t be surprised if he kisses your scars.
- If you ever need help with finding clothing, Russia is there to help you. Sure, he’s not as fashionable as France or the Italian brothers, but Russia likes to think that he dresses well. He’ll help you get comfortable clothing (and no, it’s not just Adidas tracksuits), but his speciality is tailored suits. It’s a pain finding suits that fit his size, so he already has someone on hand to take his measurements and with you in tow, he’ll make sure that you’re dressed as well as him.
- Russia will always smother his partner in his coat and scarf if the weather in his country drops below certain temperatures. It doesn’t matter if you’re taller than Russia, he will definitely take off his coat and hook it around your shoulders. If you don’t want to wear his jacket, you’re going to have to kill him first.
- If you don’t have a male figure in your life to teach you stuff that men usually do in their daily life (shaving facial hair, how to tie ties, what dress shoes to wear for business meetings, etc.), Russia will always be there to help you. He’ll laugh and joke around a bit, but he’s direct and straight to the point when it comes to actually teaching you.
- He likes holding you close and reveling in your transformation to who you truly are because when you’re you, you’re happy. And happiness is something that Russia hoards like a precious jewel.
