Starscream gawks. He doesn't know if he's more offended or relieved.
“Excuse me?”
“Pathetic. Small. Weak.” Grimlock shakes his helm dismissively, tail thudding against the dirt like a gavel. “Not challenge. Not fun.”
Starscream bristles, indignant despite the situation.
“‘Not fun’? I’ll have you know-”
“Quiet.” Grimlock growls, turning away. His tail knocks a tree over. He doesn't seem to notice. “Stay out of Grimlock’s way. Or next time, Starscream not be so lucky.”

Starscream crash lands on Dinobot Island. The only way he's going to survive long enough to get off the Primus-forsaken rock is to somehow convince an apex predator to protect him.

They were just friends. Amica, yes, but they didn’t share beds. They hadn’t shared a berth, ever.
Whenever they had a movie night, or played a game until far too late, Rodimus would look over at him, about to ask him to leave. Then, Drift would politely do him the favour of saying ‘It’s late. I’m going to head home for bed,’ before Rodimus needed to worry about kicking him out.
It was a line Drift couldn’t see them crossing.If he shared a bed with Rodimus, he’d be too tempted with horrible urges to kiss and claim and consume. He already stifled so much feeling. He didn’t trust himself to stay away if Rodimus was that close. He was a dam ready to break any moment. A bomb just waiting for ignition.
