The sound of another one of those horns goes off followed by a whole orchestra of in and out of tune horns. “B, if I hear another one of those horns I swear to you, I’m gonna lose all of my marbles.” Impulse chuckles out, his head resting in his palm as he tries to lighten his mood.
“They’ll probably find it boring after a while, don't let it stress you too much hon.” Bdubs replies to his exhausted soulmate as he walks back to the window for what seems to be the hundredth time to check on the crops that are slowly being flooded by the downpour.
“I will burn every horn I find till there are no more!” he jokingly declares although Bdubs can't tell if he's joking or not at this point. Impulse lowers his head again as another cacophony sounds in the distance.
A sudden thud is heard on the roof of their dirt mound and both men stare at each other and take glances at the roof trying to find a reason for the noise. Worry fills Bdubs that their lone unsupported wall may have fallen with the storm so he quickly adorns his armour and equips his shield ready to head out and fight off any of the mobs that could be hiding in the dark.
He opens the door and checks his surroundings for any creepers or zombies that may be lurking outside his door, when he finds none he heads out into the rain, cursing the no helmet rule as his hair gets soaked and water gets in his eyes. He slowly turns around praying it's only minor damage to the wall only to find the wall hasn’t even chipped in the slightest bit.
Looking through the doors' small windows, Impulse is trying to assess the situation through the unreadable look on Bdubs’ already beaten up face. He decides to start putting his own armour on when he sees B heading up to the top of the mound.
“What happened? Did the wall fall?” Impulse tries to yell over the pouring rain. “Uh, no it didn't. I’m gonna try to figure out what happened!” Bdubs shouts back as he makes his way around the seemingly sturdy wall.
On the other side of the wall he sees a fallen down tent and a dog, “Uhm, is somebody up here?” He calls out as he goes over to the dog hoping he can push it inside the mound to protect it from the rain till its owner can come.
BDoubleO100: Hey did someone leave their dog on our mound?
As he sends the message he notices the fallen tent moves a little as the light of one of the chat monitors seeps through the fabric a bit. “Who's under there?” He asks again slowly growing wary though he has no enemies on this server.
Bdubs lifts the tent a bit to see a scared, wet, and dirty Pearl hiding underneath. “Oh I’m so sorry, I just needed someone and the wall sort of made for a good hiding spot.” Pearl quickly rambled out an excuse seeming dishevelled.
“Pearl? Why didn't you say something when I first called out! Come on, let's get you dried off.” He reaches out, grabbing her arm to pull her up. As she stands she brings along her dog.
“B, you okay up there? What's the dog about?” Impulse shouts from the bottom of the mound.
“I'm alright Impulse, Pearl was camping out up top, how funny is that!” Bdubs replies as he guides Pearl and her dog down the side of the mound towards Impulse.

As they all dry off inside, Impulse can't help but stare at Pearl waiting for the reason she found the top of their hill to be a comfy campsite.
So, are we gonna talk about why you were hiding on-top of our home?" He asks abruptly, slightly upset. Pearl slowly lifts her head, looking at Bdubs then Impulse.
"Well, I was with Martyn all session because we couldn't find our soulmates and wanted some entertainment." She starts, speaking quietly and quickly. "But by the end we found Scott and Cleo and they ended up being our soulmates."
"That's great!" Bdubs nods with his hands in the air in celebration. "But um, that doesn't exactly explain why you were up there..." he finishes lowering his arms and looking towards Impulse who's sitting next to him.
"Right well, Scott and Cleo are mad, like really mad, that we made them search for us while they had to deal with the injuries of our adventures and, uhm, left us. Martyn left after they did so now its just me and the pup." She smiled trying to lift the mood as tears brimmed her eyes.
"Oh, Pearl." Bdubs said softly as he walked over to give the poor girl a hug. Almost instantly she bursts into tears. After all the stress of trying to find her person all she got was abandoned in the rain with nowhere to go.
Impulse quickly joined the hug squeezing the two shorter people very tightly. "It's alright Pearl, you can stay with us until you can get on your feet if you'd like." He says as he slowly pulls away from her, looking at Bdubs for confirmation.
Bdubs nods at his soulmate and a smile grows on his face as Pearl wipes her eyes on the towel they lent to her.
"Thank you so much" she sputters out as a smile grows and more tears fall.
