Summary
Wei Ying was well aware of his own mortality—a little more aware than the average person. It inspired his recklessness and his loudmouth. Some called it spontaneity, some called it stupidity, he called it living what short life he would have to the fullest. It inspired him to say whatever, talk to whomever, and enjoy the company of his siblings and people to the fullest because he could die the next day, his blood sucked dry, and in the process be kicking himself for something he didn’t do. They say your life flashes before your eyes before you die, and Wei Ying at least wanted a good show on his way out.
So, when his family up and moved, seemingly out of nowhere, he took it as a new adventure. And when his homeroom desk partner gave him a disdainful look, then refused to speak to him the entire class, despite his attempts to make conversation, he brushed it off.
