We feel like Louisa May Alcott and Edgar Allan Poe were friends in the guild.
So here are our headcanons on how they interacted.
- Louisa and Poe hang out in Poes’ or Louisas’ studies drinking tea and reading books. They usually sit in silence and then awkwardly leave.
- When either of them feel overwhelmed they go and sit in the other's study (Poe lets Louisa pet Karl)
- Eventually Poe and Louisa got so used to each others company that they started their own little book club and they meet every day. (The Guild knows not to bother them).
- Louisa gives Poe advice on his mystery novels and insists on reading them all. (She also encourages him to continue trying to write a mystery to stump even Ranpo).
- They stayed friends even after the guild was disbanded.
- Poe will be sitting at his desk writing with Karl on his shoulder and Louisa will quietly knock and asks if she can come in and vibe with him cause she’s feeling
overwhelmed and they have a small comfy silence but then end up discussing books, and drinking tea together while feeding and petting Karl.
Overall these two would be great friends. And no one can convince us otherwise
