Unfortunately, this maiden voyage will not go smoothly, as one of the passengers is in possession of an alien lifeform. But this isn't the only alien aboard the Jefferson. Rania, the Sixth Tinkerer of Gallifrey, investigates under the alias of "Clementine Walker," a best-selling 19th century author, along with her two companions, Tyler Thorne and Craig Williams. As one mystery on the Mississippi deepens, another comes along to complicate things.

Such as, mentions of buying human beings, murder, tragic backstories, casual mentions of prostitution, the existence of Colonel Parker as a Pimp, racism, period typical use of drugs and sex. And a chiefly to consider: past sexual abuse and mental manipulation of the male main character. the story itself focuses on love and camaraderie -however, consider yourself warned. I’ve tried to remain as respectful as possible while retaining the feel of the era and the fascinating shift in the culture. Enjoy.
