Chapter Text
Izuku was facing the League. They had kidnapped him as he walked to the dorms. The moment he had woken up he had immediately worked on getting out if the bonds he was in.
It had only taken him a couple minutes. (He wasn't slow MARI they were done really well) When he was free, he waited in his chair for someone to come. When Dabi had opened the door, he immediately jumped him and knocked him out before rushing out the door.
Hence, where he currently was.
Shigaraki smiled nastily at him. "It wont do you any good Izuku, we have something of yours, and you WILL cooperate if you want it back."
Izuku froze. What could they have? They were all looking confident that it would be enough to stop him. What could it be?
Shigaraki cackled. "You know, when I mentioned to Sensei that I wanted to find the people closest to you and use them against you, he told me the most amazing thing!" He fixed him with a maniacal smile. "He told me about a quirk that he got years ago that would transport the people most important to the person he uses it on, right here!"
He gestured to a screen behind him. It was black. "I was prepared for parents, or even those brats at UA, but you surprised me. Two brats that I have never seen or heard of before. Dont worry, we threw them in the cell. We havent hurt them… yet. But you will cooperate if you want them to survive."
Shigaraki was once again cackling as he turned to click the button that turned the screen on.
Once Izuku had heard what Shigaraki said though, he immediately relaxed. He also had to stop himself from laughing. There was no way… right? But then, but then! Shigaraki said that he hadn't ever heard or seen them before, and Izuku knew.
As Shigaraki turned the screen on, Izuku started laughing.
Shigaraki snarled at him. "What are you laughing about? We have your friends! They are trapped!"
Izuku couldn’t stop laughing. He was holding his stomach desperately trying to breath as he choked out a few words. “Sh-Shiggy— if y-you think that that is keeping my family out, y–you’re crazy.” Tears ran down his face as he finally got his breathing semi under control and stopped laughing. Except for the occasional giggle.
Shigaraki looked mad enough to explode. He turned to the screen though… and saw what Izuku had seen all along. An empty room. Shigaraki immediately started screaming. “Kurogiri! Those, those brats! They escaped!”
Izuku sat on the ground watching as Shigaraki shouted at everyone. He felt forgotten as Shigaraki dashed to the computer to look through the footage.
He giggled again as Shigaraki finally got to where they walked out.
Shigaraki seethed. You could even hear him hiss. “Where are they?! Dabi, you were in charge of keeping an eye on the door! Where are you!”
Shigaraki continued shrieking at his ‘League’, but besides Twice and Kurogiri, Izuku hadn’t seen anyone else.
“Oh Shiggy… I don’t think you have anyone to help you right now.” A voice purred from the roof.
“Who ARE you?!” Shigaraki screeched as he flipped around and stared at the new person. “Are you the girl? You must have gotten an upgrade while I wasn’t looking! That isn’t fair!”
And Mari dropped down from the vents, in the Cat costume. She was swinging the staff back and forth in a relaxed motion.
She glanced behind her at Izuku. He waved at her and smiled brightly.
Shigaraki was standing in a fighting position tensely. “Where’s the red one? Did he get an upgrade too?” He snarled out.
Izuku spoke. “You know… if you thought I was hard to fight… you just locked my teachers up.” And Izuku smirked at him. “My best friends. My family. The people I am closest too. You brought them straight to your base!” He started laughing again.
Mari sighed. “Did you drug him? Izuku, what did we say about drugs?” She said mock disappointedly, keeping an eye on Shigaraki.
Izuku sighed. “I know, I know. Remember what happened to Tim.” And shook his head sadly.
A shout was heard from another area. “That was ONE time! And it was forever ago! You guys don’t have to bring it up every time!”
Izuku cheered. “Tim!”
And another figure came running into the room. This one wore a mix of dark, dark red and green colors along with the black fabric that seemed to suck in all the light around him.
Tim smiled at Izuku. “Hi Zuku! The place is about to blow so we should probably get out of here!” He said as he picked up Izuku in a fireman's carry and kicked the only other door in the room open. It led to a small alley.
Shigaraki sputtered. “Hey! What do you mean the place is going to bl-”
He was interrupted by a staff to the stomach. Mari swiped the staff at his head and knocked Shigaraki out before dragging him out the door as well.
Mari dropped him carelessly on the ground and reached out to Tim. Tim automatically handed her zipties. Once Shigaraki was tied securely, she picked him up and they continued out the alleyway into the street.
“Hey Zuku!” Tim said brightly as they walked. “Where’s the nearest police station?”
Izuku grumbled out, pouting, “If you’d put me down then maybe I co-”
Izuku was interrupted by a flash of gray going by them, only missing Tim because he jumped.
“Give the boy back and nobody has to get hurt.” Was snarled from the roof.
“Eraserhead! No! These ar-”
“And why should I give him to you? You let him be caught by murderers.” Tim interrupted cooly. He had lowered Izuku down from the carry and was instead hugging him. But to an outsider it could be taken as threatening.
(Izuku knew better though. Tim had been scared they wouldn’t find him.)
Eraserhead jumped down. “You aren’t the ones that took him?”
Tim raised an eyebrow. “You don’t even know who took him? My faith in UA’s abilities grows more and more every moment.”
Eraserhead growled. “We knew where he was. I was sent ahead to scout while backup gets here. We weren’t there when he was kidnapped, but we realized he was missing this morning when he wasn’t back from his Mom’s house for class.”
Eraserhead very obviously didn’t know how to treat the people in front of him. Mari had jumped into the nearest alley the moment they heard him, and hadn’t popped out again. Wonder what she was doing. Tim was furious that the teachers hadn’t realized that their student was missing. And for how long? How long had they had Izuku trapped before they pulled him and Mari into the world? They had been there for hours waiting for Dabi to walk away for a minute to escape. Dabi had assured them that Izuku was alive and would stay that way so long as he ‘obeyed’. But the pros should have gotten there much faster.
Izuku laughed nervously. “Hahaaaa yeah… they grabbed me when I started to walk home last night.” He said sheepishly.
And then Mari reappeared. “You idiot! As your teachers we are disappointed in you for getting your idiot butt captured ON THE WAY HOME!” She smacked him upside the head with her staff (gently).
Izuku yelped. “Mari! I forgot to tell them I was coming back! I’m sorry!” He frantically said, trying to calm her glare.
She continued glaring at Izuku. Tim tried not to laugh at them, and at Eraserhead’s utter bewilderment.
“Are you… friends?” Eraserhead asked, sounding beyond done with the situation. He had also relaxed from his original position. Still ready, but not about to jump them.
Mari turned to him then. “And you!”
But before they could find out what she was going to say to him, the rest of the teachers converged on the area.
