   Summary

   Byakuya found that he could hold his own against Zaraki for more than twenty hours straight. It wasn’t enough. Every time he left the decimated training yard it felt as though he was burning from the inside out, his body slow and hot with fatigue and his senses sharpened with adrenaline. He never slept well afterwards, unsatisfied.
