Work Text:
In Fenton’s defense, he had told his boyfriend explicitly to “not fall asleep .”
And in Gyro’s defense, he had responded that he never “ just falls asleep anywhere, Fen.”
But here they were, Gyro all but curled into Fenton during the movie that Fenton had put on. Fenton nudged him, being met with a grumble and scrunching of his beak before turning his head to bury himself deeper into Fenton’s side. “What am I going to do with you, babe?” he asked, Gyro making a strangled noise from where his beak was buried in Fenton’s neck. “Let’s go to bed, Gyro.” Fenton tried again, patting Gyro’s back as the older man protested.
“You leave me no choice.” Fenton spoke, adjusting his arms around Gyro’s body, pulling the other man closer to him as he carefully stood up. The last thing either one of them would want was for Fenton to lose his grip and drop Gyro.
But by some miracle, he managed to keep hold of him, Gyro pulled close to him as he made the all too familiar trek back to their room.
“Do I weigh anything to you?” he heard Gyro mumble into his shirt, the younger man letting out a soft laugh as he crossed the doorway into their room.
“It’s like holding a couple of grapes.” he replied, making his way to the bed and laying Gyro down on the mess of covers.
Before Fenton could step back, Gyro’s hand came out, grabbing hold of Fenton’s shirt and pulling him on top of him. The two dissolving into giggles as Gyro rolled them so that Fenton was pinned beneath him. Their beaks pressed together in a soft kiss. Fenton’s arms coming up and wrapping around Gyro’s back.
Gyro was the one to pull away, “Strong superhero boyfriend.” he whispered, gigging to himself, which caused Fenton to dissolve into giggles himself, “not fair.” Gyro continued, before leaning down once more and kissing Fenton.
