    At Seokjin’s first and only meeting with Jungkook prior to the wedding, Jungkook suggested that since they were in a similar situation—forced into a marriage they didn’t want in the name of business—that they should both keep up their personal “pursuits.” Quietly, of course.

    Seokjin could only listen and nod, even though it’s certainly not what he wanted—the furthest thing from it. But he couldn’t tell Jungkook the actual truth. He couldn’t confess that he’s in love with Jungkook, or that he’s been pining for him from afar for years.
