Akito and Toya were on a walk. The weather was nice today, and the two always hung out and talked together, typically about upcoming shows they wanted to do or new songs they wanted to cover. But anything was fine with Akito, as long as he got the chance to talk to Toya.
"So after we finish-"
Akito is cut off by a bark, and he reflexively lets out a small squeal.
A very large white dog was running towards them. The dog went up to Toya and sniffed him.
Akito instantly felt sick to his stomach and he slowly backed away. Toya looked up at Akito, petting the dog. "Isn't it so cute? It's really fluffy too."
"Ahhh... Samo-chan... I'm so sorry." A brown haired girl took the leash of the dog and tugged it in the opposite direction. Akito watched carefully as she disappeared from eyesight.
"Akito are you okay..?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, sorry."
Toya laughed a little. "Are you scared of dogs?"
"Hey don't laugh at me! And no I'm not, I just got bit by one when I was little, that's all."
Toya steps closer to Akito, holding out his arms. "Come here," he says softly. Although he rolls his eyes, Akito doesn't hesitate to quickly embrace him.
Toya gently rubs circles on Akito's back. "It's okay."
Akito feels his face heat up. "I'm not a baby, you know. You don't have to treat me like one."
"I know you aren't, I just want to make sure you're okay."
"Fuck you Toya."
Akito steps away from Toya, attempting to make an angry face even though his cheeks are clearly red. Slowly stepping towards his partner, Toya places his hand on Akito's right cheek and turns his head to face him. Akito scoffs before Toya briefly pecks his lips. Then Akito hugs him again.
Even if he didn't want to admit it or reveal a vulnerable side, Akito loved Toya along with every little thing that he did.
