Summary
Childe is ready to leave Liyue when he finds out who exactly Zhongli is. With the Geo Gnosis with Signora, there's no reason for Childe to stay any longer, especially when his only friend was the one who lied to him about everything in the first place.
But when Zhongli ends up in Childe's apartment as he's getting ready to leave, Childe stays to help Zhongli figure out why his body is more fragile than a normal human.

Childe turns to find Zhongli on one knee, bent over as he retches the contents of their dinner on the ground, the jade shield fades as he starts to stand on wobbly legs. Childe is there in an instant, arm wrapping around the other man's waist in a second, helping him stand on his feet.
“I think the conclusion is that you’re sick,” Childe says, softly.
“I believe you are right.”
