Chapter Text
It all started when I was 12. I met Sonic and became obsessed. He was my soulmate I just knew it! I started growing up after that and well. I hit fifteen and he takes me out on our first date. It was fun. We went to a water park. Then I turned eighteen and we made it official by telling the media and starting a physical relationship. I turned 19 and I was pregnant. Sonic not wanting to be a adult dropped me like a hot rock and I moved out of town since I just couldn't deal with it and Sonic's new toxic behavior towards me. Which left me here. In Empire city. Working at a maid cafe. I had gotten the job since it was beside the apartment I had gotten for myself with the money Sonic loaned me to move. I didn't want to work there at first. But now? I'd never leave.
I smiled as I did the dishes.
The maid cafe was my home. I loved it here. I worked with four other people.
There was Granny Kate the Raccoon. She was white and black aswell as the manager of the cafe.
The twins Marcel and Lena. They were twin foxes. Both of them were blue and white and the only reason I could even distinguish them was that Marcel looked meaner than Lena and they worked as waitresses.
Finally there was Galene. She was a chubby purple eagle with black at the end of her tail feathers. She was our cook.
As for me? I kinda did alittle of everything. I was the holla if you need me girl. I normally waited tables but I could also make food and I was the only one who didn't put up a fight when it was time to take out the trash.
I finished up the dishes.
And that wasn't even the best thing about this place.
The best thing was that Granny let me bring my daughter to work and that they had all pitched in to help me during my maternity leave.
I smiled.
The SunnySide Cafe was my home.
I honestly didn't regret leaving Hedgehog town.
I then heard Marcel shouting.
"Amy! The rush is here!" Marcel called.
"Coming!" I called back.
Yep.
This was the life.
