The stars come out
And all that counts

Came, came, came
Cacao looked up at the night sky, the light from the sun fading as it set. The cookie next to him snuggled closer, the time apart had only strengthened the bond, somehow.
You cast a spell on me
Spell on me
"Look, the stars are coming out. Maybe we can see our constellation soon,"
They said to him, softly. Cacao snorted
"Like you can see anything my love,"
You hit me like the sky fell on me
Fell on me
A pout
"I've got my staff!"
Cacao chuckled
"That is true my dear,"
And I decided you looked well on me
Well on me
Cacao pulled him closer, right into his lap instead of against his side, and kissed the top of his head.
"I wish you could see it better though,"
So go somewhere no one else can see
You and me
A hand reached up, the other cookie turning around to cup his cheek.
"I can see just fine, since you're all I need,"
They kissed.
Turn the lights out now
Now I'll take you by the hand
Hand you another drink
Drink it if you can
Can you spend a little time?
Time is slipping away
Away from us so stay
Stay with me I can make
Make you glad you came
Cacao stood up, pulling Vanilla with him, hugging him close as they twirled and kissed.
How had a bitter old cookie ended up with someone so sweet?
It didn't matter now, did it?
They were together, and the sound of laughter filled the night.
