“What do you mean they have captured a victim?!” Aizawa shouted, his voice almost echoing from where he was standing. Mina and her squad were all in front of him telling him the news that the villains that had attacked them in the middle of their training camp had captured someone. Aizawa sighed.
“Where are they?” he asked, a frown on his face and Kaminari pointed at the direction. Aizawa didn’t hesitate a second to run there. He ran until he saw blue flames from behind a bush where Aoyama was hiding. When the student saw him, he immediately put a finger to his mouth, a sign that he should stay quiet. Aizawa ducked and made his way to his student.
“They seem to be looking for Bakugo...” Aoyama said in a hushed tone when Aizawa was near enough. The older males' eyes widened, and he knew he had to do something fast. But what? He can’t go warn the kid, he doesn’t even know where he is.
“Follow me back to the building. It's better if we ensure that all the students are safe first, we’ll find Bakugo during the process.” Aizawa quietly stood up and Aoyama followed him back.
They neared the building when they saw Bakugo and a couple others near the building together with the students he left there. He rushed to them with Aoyama close behind him.
“Is everyone here?” Aizawas eyes scanned over the group, everyone was here. Thank god.
“What are they even doing here? Can’t there be a day where we don’t get attacked by villains?” Sero said in a quiet tone but Aizawa couldn’t blame him, he didn’t want anyone that could possibly be hiding to hear them, even if they aren’t going to utter any information.
“They’re here to take Bakugo.” Aizawa answered him.
“You guessed that right!” a voice said from behind them, Aizawa immediately turned around and saw the villains all huddled up in a group. Or what was left of them at least. He heard that some of their students took a few of them out “It’s a shame you guys got rid of some of our people... guess it won’t hurt to do the same to you? You know, an eye for an eye as they say.” it was that flame villain, Dabi.
“What do you want?” Aizawa exclaimed, his voice rough as he stood protectively in front of his students. He normally hates killing but if any of those villains touched a hair on his students, he wouldn’t hesitate.
“Oh, nothing. Just that blondie over there.” Dabi pointed at Bakugo who scowled and glared. Just then Mandalay jogged up from behind the students. Aizawa started wondering where the class 1-B students were...
“We’re not going to give you anyone!” Uraraka shouted. That's right. Come any closer and your life will flash before your eyes in an instant.
“Of course not. That's why we have these two...” one of the other villains pushed two people in front of him. A plain teenage boy and... Kota! Mandalay gasped. There's no way Aizawa is going to let them get the upper hand. No matter who they had captured.
They took away the blindfold from the teenage boy and he looked startled at the new scenery. He looked severely beaten up. His eyes widened and began watering. He started screaming but was muted by the cloth in his mouth. He was wearing an old and battered middle school uniform although he looked older. Just how long had he been captured? The boy looked Aizawa in the eyes. He was begging for help and it took every ounce of his strength to not run over and rescue both him and Kota. But he knew, one wrong move and they might kill them both.
“Oh that’s right! My lovely Izuku has an old friend! Don't you? Go on!” the girl with the pigtails giggled, removed the cloth from his mouth and the boy began screaming, startling Kota who began shaking out of fear.
“Kacchan!! Please, Kacchan! Help me! Please, help me!” the boy cried out, the tears falling faster down his cheeks. Who was Kacchan? Aizawa was sure that he’d never heard that name before. To his surprise they let Kota go who immediately ran to Mandalay and hugged her while crying. Mandalay searched him for any injuries but luckily found none.
“I’m not the type to harm small children but this one...” Dabi pointed at the teenager “He’s a special exception...” he smirked. He held the boy up by the collar and looked at him. The boy's eyes widened, and he stopped screaming. He looked more terrified than any other victims that Aizawa had seen. What had he gone through?
“He’s been so obedient for this very long year that we’ve kept him. I'm amazed that he didn’t even try to escape. He's really smart after all. He knows that if he tries to escape, he gets killed.” Dabi smirked and looked at Bakugo who was now standing beside Aizawa. When looking over at his direction, Aizawa saw that the boy flinched. He had never seen that kind of expression on Bakugos face before...
“Hey, are you ok?” Kirishima asked as he put his hand on Bakugos shoulder, but the latter didn’t answer. He didn’t do anything, he just stood there with his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide, staring.
“Kacchan...! Please... help me, please!” the teenage boy cried out once again and this time Bakugo rushed forward.
“Bakugo stop!” Aizawa exclaimed and Bakugo, surprisingly, complied. He stood frozen in the middle of the two groups.
“Give him back!” Bakugo shouted in frustration with a shaky voice. And it suddenly clicked. Bakugo Katsuki is Kacchan. The one the teenage boy was begging for help. Are they friends? Did they know each other before? Are they using the boy against us? Is this a trap?
“Should we really?” Dabi asked and looked around at the others while flailing the boy around. The others seemed convinced, everyone except the girl with the pigtails nodded.
“I’ll miss you Izu! Don't have too much fun without me!” she put her hand on his cheek. He looked paralyzed with fear “Oh don’t worry! We'll come back for you!” Dabi threw the boy away from them with force and they ran away. The other pro heroes ran after them as the rest stayed back. The boy landed by Bakugos feet. The latter bent down and helped the teenage boy slowly sit up. He was shaking violently and Bakugo was trying to be gentle with him.
“Izuku...? Are you alright? Answer me...? Izuku...?” Bakugo asked with a soft voice as he helped him stand up. The boy didn’t answer immediately but still stood up. He was looking at the ground.
“Kacchan...? Kacchan, I'm scared....” the boy answered, he was shaking. He tried reaching for Bakugo but his hands were tied together. Bakugo made a move to touch his shoulder but before he could he was trapped by the roots of the trees. Both Bakugo and Izuku looked scared and shocked. Aizawa quickly used his quirk on Izuku.
“Izuku... what was that...?” Bakugo asked carefully as the roots slowly retorted back to the ground “Was that your quirk?” Bakugo continued and Aizawa was confused. Why was it shocking that the boy had a quirk? Had he never seen it before? The boy held his hands in front of his mouth and shook his head. He was mumbling.
“Izuku... Izuku calm down! It's ok! Hey, it’s ok. Really...” Bakugo held Izuku close and they both collapsed to the ground once Izukus knees gave in. He began crying and Bakugo held him tighter. His own eyes were starting to water “You’re safe now... it’s ok.” Bakugo whispered as Izukus sobs and screams echoed around in the clearing.
